Is there a difference between Battenberg and Angel cake ? other than the pattern of pink and yellow. There both yummy

Angel cake is in layers, a Battenburg is like a 4x4 chessboard. Possibly the glue between the layers is different too, I'm not sure about that.

Plus Battenburg is then wrapped in marzipan, which is the other important thing!

Any movie is bad when all you can hear is muffled voices, neighing horses and stirring music that means the white man is conquering the wild west. Argh. And my room mate has developed a preference for cartoons, but she only watches for a few hours at night.

Ear plugs? Although I can't use them myself since I sleep on my side. Pressing the plug against mh pillow hurts my ear.

Same here. I have to lie on my side and ear plugs hurt. No, the only true solution is for the staff to make her obey the rules. But she has them all frightened of being reported. She takes notes, like a policeman.
