It's quite nice playing LotRO on a RP server - sure, there are idiots who are not RPers at all but only strive to cause trouble, but the majority of players are still RPers, and very helpful and generous.

You'll regularly see someone in the trade channel announcing free give aways. Mostly people practising their crafting. Also, when one of my cloaks got bugged (it didn't show up in the colour I had dyed it) a player mailed me 5 bottles of purple (and that's bright purple) dye.

Couldn't dye it anyway (like I said, bugged) but game support gave me a new identical cloak - and yet another bottle of purple dye!

The only problem is that I wanted to dye it a dull colour, not bright, for my burglar, to make her less noticeable. Ah well...

When I get access to some spare time, I promise I'll have a look

I actually like those kind of westerns.

Having a dwarf 45 levels above your own help you find a boss might seem like an overkill, but he was nice enough to split the loot evenly. I had been running around in circles for a good while without spotting the boss. I'm guessing he's here to gain reputation.

Westerns like any other genre have good and bad examples...sounds like it was a bad one.

It's strange, but when we took over this place I was going to get a keyring/fob made with the h2g2 logo on one side and "The Asylum" on the other.
