kelli - ran 2 miles a day for 2012, aiming for the same for 2013

Am I more paranoid, as am reluctant to click on a link I don't know, from an open website smiley - silly?

Last week at work before christmas this week. Fingers crossed for minimal stress...

Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am...

13/14... mostly because I didn't double check one of the URLs before choosing.

Spaceechik, Typomancer

Welcome back, Flamedancer, and pleased to meet you, PePe!

I'm off to bed. I haven't slept well in the past four nights -- my feet have been very painful and *cold* so I don't sleep for more than 1-2 hours at a time.

Prawntivithai is amazing -- I needed the laugh so much!!!

Also, speaking of parties, my non-profit group had ours on Saturday, and it was fantastic, as usual. Best quote of the night: "This is the only party where you can hear 50 year-olds discussing their favorite comic books -- very knowledgeably!!" on overhearing a bunch of women talking about the merits of this past years comics turned movies)

Little Lost Mammoth

I find I need about 5 liters before I start to be able to fly. Like that Disney Film, only more hyperactive.

I think about half that should do it for a mouse.

smiley - mammoth.

Good Doctor Zomnker (This must be Tuesday," said GDZ to himself, sinking low over his Dr. Pepper, "I never could get the hang of Tuesdays.")

Morning all.

14/14, not that this surprises me. I have had to tell too many people why they screwed up in the past.

Magwitch - My name is Mags and I am funky.

14/14 for me too. I got one through the post the other week, the bad grammar, very poor quality paper and the fact that I've never participated in the Euro Lottery were the clinchers smiley - winkeye

Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am...

The Euro Lottery ones I've had are the bestest... so utterly lazy. No graphics or legal looking gubbins. Just a plain text request for my bank details.

It was the 'Congratulation' that made me roar, Mr D.

What worries me is that for these scams to keep going somebody must be falling for them... it's a little scary to think there are people out there who are that gullible.

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence

Probiotics are all over the place in the USA these days. Yogurt, pills, expensive little bottles of "shake". Are the little critters as good as promoters say they are?

Jamie Lee Curtis is the spokesperson for Activia yogurt, and she's been telling us for years now that the product cures "irregularity" (if eaten 3 times a day over the period of about 3 weeks). And now there's another lady appearing in commercials promoting a product called Colon Health; taking a pill a day will, she says, get rid of more gastric unpleasantness than Lydia Pinkham ever knew wot of.

Is it all a waste of money? Anyone here using the products?

Bagpuss

I've not heard Activia claim that in the UK, suggesting it might not get the claims past the Advertising Standards Authority.

14/14 on the quiz, by looking at URLs. Thing is I don't always look at URLs for sites in normal browsing, so I can't say I wouldn't fall for any of them. I probably wouldn't follow a link to the fake site in the first place though. If I want eBay, I type eBay.co.uk in the address bar.

Pastey

My mum swore by "little brown pills" to keep her system regular and in good health. I just drink beer, it does the same and is far more enjoyable.
