Best Power Point like experience I had was an MSc lecturer, an American lady, who used a projector and probably Word and typed here notes as she lectured. At the end she just downloaded her notes to a stick and past it around the class for us to copy. Smart huh?

Got to go and tax my car, I'm illegal at the moment. Bad albatross.

Our snow has gone, victim of the rising temperatures. Quite a relief to get outside, clean the patio, cut some whisky staves for the fire and chop some kindling.

Missed my section lunch in Inverness today, the kangaroo having come down with the lurgy overnight. My main job for the day providing entertainment to an almost 8 year old.

Mind you I hardly slept at all last night. There is just such an anger over the cancellation of our new aircraft. Mainly because the decision was based on insufficient knowledge. Better night tonight I hope. Small beer compared to the hassles the rest of you face daily, something that always springs to mind.

Yep, major thaw today. My car windscreen washers now work.

-12ºC here, humid and cold = icy in spots with no snow, such as major roads, ho hum.

Oh well, at least I'll have a golden opportunity to defrost my fridge this weekend - just chuck out any frozen food on the balcony.

I wish I had a balcony... Admittedly I probably would never do anything with it if I had one, but it would be nice to have the option.
I did once live in a house with a set of double doors out of the main bedroom which, when opened, had a metal fence immediately outside that they claimed was a balcony, but it wasn't really.

Sunny with high broken cloud, 9 DegC on the patio but it does face due South.

Eats, I understand how devastated you guys must be. I cannot for the life of me understand the blatent waste of money of scrapping unused but complete Nimrods. A bit nearer to us BAE Sysytems announced the redundancies at, I think, Warton and the tele pictures showed the aircraft, ready to go. Stupid politicians but it doesn't help you guys.

Me and the have been abandonned. Mrs WA has gone shopping. To Bruges, yup Bruges in Belgium, all the way from the little old Isle of Man. Will we survive? Tune in later to find out.
