I think I may be a labour supporter after all. I am feeling more depressed every time I see a 'Con gain'.

Where's the wine?

Well, joking aside, I wonder if he was just too colourful for them? And Z pointed out that he dump Sian Lloyd.

The husband of a friend of mine is standing - don't know the result yet, but he won't have won. Not a knob though, but I suspect he's an exception.

Shame, I rather like the Lib Dems.

Hi all. Thought I'd get a few hours kip in before watching the results. The Star has decided to join me, so we might not stay the course.

My seat has swung to the Conservatives, which is no surprise. Not because the Libearls nicked some of the votes though, which is a shame. Mind you, very weak Liberal candidate we had. I wonder how far that has been part of the problem (assuming they really haven't done as well as they might have hoped). Afterall the vote is not for Clegg and Cable, it's for the person standing in your constituancy.

Too colourful for the Lib Dems, surely some mistake?

Cam mate, are you going to thank everyone you've ever met? It's not an Oscar speech, our kid.

Its not the triumphant speech he was hoping to make at this time of night.

I was thinking that Lembit might have been too colourful for North Wales, to be honest.

Umm, how can anyone campaign after the polls have closed? Or did I miss something?

Make that a positioning speech then - I felt he was positioning himself for the negotiations with the minor parties rather than claiming victory

There is indeed, Tod.

Glad you're enjoying it Lil. You can watch the BBC coverage live on-line if you choose to.

Actually, there was quite a bit of coverage on MSNBC, with several British reporters who seemed dead chuffed to be on US cable. I notice we still have a modded post -- are there arbitrary limits on discussion, even now that the polls have closed?
