No need to blush. It's fine to be good
First kiss must have been around 7th grade - we had a corner with two mattresses and some colourful pillows in the corner of our reasonably large class room at school (and no, though this was Denmark in the 70s, no *ahem* school teaching took place there - they were simply for a cosy place for the breaks! ). One day in a break we were a bunch in a pillow fight and a kiss or two sort of sneaked in. Quite OK - but I am a little ashamed that I'm not really sure if it was K, J1 or J2...
First snog in high school with G - we dated for half a year's time. Until it ended in a misunderstanding about me having "done something" with another at the school galla. Which I hadn't. (But actually would have liked, to - but that's water under the bridge).

That was quite awesome Greensleeves!

By the way, I promised photies of the bathroom, before and after. The little photos are the ones the estate agent, who must have been very tall, put on the brochure. The ones dated 11th November 2005 are ones I took the day I moved in. I'll add to this album as I finish the work.
As you can see, the bathroom is much brighter now.

Oh, and I got an amazing message from the son of the former private life on Facebook. I've kept tabs on him (the son that is, not the father) via FB though he is a very infrequent Facebooker, and I've sent him books every Christmas and Birthday. This is because he is remarkably short of useful sane relatives, the sort you can turn to in an emergency, and it doesn't half help to know there is someone whose doorstep you can turn up on at 3:00 am or who will bail you out of jail even if you never actually need it. A couple of years ago I wondered if I should stop because I never knew if he got the books and it was beginning to feel kind of stalkery.
Anyhoo, this is part of what he said in thanks for this year's present:
"Listen, thank you for your help and support over the past years. ... Your thoughtfulness, sense of humour and communications have helped me immensely ... The books you've sent me have time and again demonstrated that you know me very well, often better than i do ... You're a great friend, and that's more than i could ever ask for."
Thrilled doesn't even begin to cover it. *sniff*

Ben, Picasa tells me I do not have access to your photos.
Amazing poem, Greensleeves!
I can attest to the fact MR's graduation party last June was quite the blow out. It, to borrow Greensleeves' description of me, rocked and rolled all night long. I think I finally crashed around 3 or 4am.

Ooops. Try again, FG.
I've only done the bathroom so far, but you can see what I'm up against in the kitchen and living room. The bedrooms have itty-bitty floral wallpaper. *sigh*

Brava, Greensleeves! That was a great poem, especially the mention of absent friends.
I'm working on getting more fun my life, and one of the first things will be to go to the Gallifrey convention at the end of February! Can't wait, it's going to be a blast--last one I went to, there was no Dr. Who show on, not even reruns, now there's three shows (DW, TW, and MJSA). Oh, and a *much* more upscale hotel!

MJSA should be TSJA -- I don't watch it much, and it's been over a year since BBCAmerica had it on...that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

*joins the applause for Greensleeves, adding a strange whispering texture to the sound of adulation as feathers brush against feathers*
I have only ever kissed one person in my life, and that includes on stage. I have led a remarkably sheltered existence, haven't I?

Really should do the domestic stuff I need to do to keep things ticking over and not descending into koas.

Didn't tell you all about a really excellent party I had the joy of co-hosting many a long moon ago.
Now please, don't take umbrage, this was back in the day when we used non-oregano for pure fun (and what fun we had )
Loads of good friends (and a few others who'd just heard it was going down), and pancakes were on the menu all night, as was rather a lot of the aforementioned herb. One chap had even ridden on his bicycle with a rather long one in an old poster tube. We had several rather creative bods making 'creations' including wheels and rather odd constructions for several hours. Previously mentioned chap even recreated the poster treat on the stairs - using just two hands!!!
Several of the revellers stayed the night and helped us clear up and clean up the following morning and in the afternoon the remainder helped make a picnic lunch and we spent the afternoon in Macclesfield Forest.
Given the number of people involved, the amount of alcohol and *other things* there was nothing but a but a good time.
