I'm on the map.
Happy Birthday Sporky!

Me too!
Like the cartoon, Amy. It not only has a dig at small sample sizes but at bias too, which is different.
I only had a bit of a play with the language thing, Kat, but I did enjoy it. I use language in a consciously slightly quirky way, (yeah, it's an affectation, so call me on it), and it was interesting to see whether or not my quirks really were quirks.
Z suggested that I put the laptop on the breakfast bar and perch on the stool to do my hooting. that is definitely better than having the laptop on the coffee table, though not as good as having a real table and chair. He's not as green as he's cabbage-looking that boy.
Unfortunately Az's meet does not clash with the weekend that I have to be in Bristol doing the Finance Module, so I don't have a reason to swap it and do another one. I don't suppose any salonistas want to get married on the weekends of the 28th/29th Janurary or the 4th March next year, do they? No? Shame, that.
Ben
(Off to play some more with the language thing)

I'm sure I could make *something* happen on those dates, which desperately need you to be there...Would that not really be important enough?

Okay, Eats, you're gone. No-one's south of the equator, yet. In fact all but one of us can be found on just two continents.
Sporky - it is a tad slow, admittedly.

Man, I did it too--no link to my user page.
::hangs head in shame before Bagpuss and hopes she can mark herself again up there in all the empty space that is the northern tier of the U.S.::

Okay, FG, you've gone. I'd make comments about you silly people, but I did the same thing.

Right, I'm off to . Any further deletions from the map must, I fear, wait until tomorrow night.
Some guy round the corner from you's got a swimming pool, Courtesy. A good person to get to know, I think.

Re-mapped.
I wonder what dictates the geography of the Atelier Salonistas? What equation brought us all here?

Why do I crave chocolate and cheese at almost one in the morning?
Hmmmm.

Almost one in the morning? Oh goodness me, that must mean it's almost - Good night all!

Munching a piece and rhubarb & ginger jam, washed down with grapefruit juice. (Keeps things regular in the morning, or is that too much info?)
curled up to snooze.

Unfortunately, the map isn't working for me. I don't know why - it might be because I'm on a Mac. I'll see if I can get on tonight and mark my X...
It's raining outside, but I have no idea if it's raining at the house. (@ work right now) I hope so - we sure need it. The grass in my yard is turning purple, and I'm not sure if it's some sort of weird mutation, or if it does that when it's really hot and needs water. It's kinda neat, but it looks strange compared to the other, greener grasses. Looks like the mother-in-law plant growing in my flowerbed.
I'm in the throes of trying to build display frames for my masks. It's hard work. Cutting a mitre in a 2x4 would be easy, I thought, but after cutting three boards yesterday my hands are blistered and my back sore. And I'm not even halfway done! So maybe I'll find an easier way to do it, or just plug away until it's done.
Went running today, and my new regime of 40-minute workouts once a day and one 30-minute run is really paying off. I felt great after my run, and almost went for another five minutes. But I take an hour-long lunch break, so every minute is precious. I went and lifted weights instead.
for all those with back problems. And feet problems - my right foot is getting a bit painful - same plantar fascitis thing that Hypatia has, I think, and my mom suffers from it too.
