MR said, "sc, never taken levaquin. Why, is that supposed to have some effect on tendons?"
Don't know about Southern California, but in Northern California, the lawyer's TV adverts on the prowl for clients cite it as a cause of "ruptured tendons" in hands, arms, ankles...[close your eyes, Irv!] ambulance chasers being willing to jump on any old class-action suit at the drop of a crutch. I'm still trying to figure out how an antibiotic could make tendons rupture.
Don't mind me, I'm grumpy because this month is shaping up as one of those that's too long for my available money.
[Lil, could we please have a flame bucket to donate to, when we *know* we've overdrawn our smiley quota?]

Enjoy your day out all who will be in Nodnol
It was good to meet people in Leeds yesterday and a shame more couldn't make it.

Good Morning all!
One more week!

MR, what a relief to have a diagnosis.
Gray morning in Lincoln. I bought a swiffer wetjet yesterday and intend to mop my kitchen floor today, for the first time in months.
We -- Landlady, Daughter and I -- watched Kinky Boots last night. Was Simon a real cross-dresser or did he simply study for the part??

Can I borrow the swiffer wetjet after you Lil ? My kitchen floor hasn't been done for months either .

*Gets in line for the wetjet. *
I hate this chore, and it always get pushed to last in my house. I want to get an iRobot Scooba floor washing robot, but the darn thing is $500 and, from the discussions forums, it appears they can be tempermental. I'm not spending that kind of money if the gadget isn't reliable.

I don't mind mopping, and I looove the smell of PineSol that pervades the house afterwards, but it's an activity that has been beyond my energy limits. The wetjet will at least eliminate the constant wringing out of the mop. I'll let you know if it actually works.

Ive just googled the wetjet , I have a similar device and it works fine , as long as the floor is not too dirty . Mine [ floor] is beyond redemption and will require kneeling down with a bucket , scrubbing brush and cloth .

Good to know that the rest of you are less than perfect housekeepers. I always feel a bit bad about other people's homes being so spotless.
sc, those ads haven't made it this far south. We get the 'Binder & Binder' ads (pretty sure that's Alan Alda being soothing), and mesothelioma class action ads. And late at night, it's all 'Girls Gone Wild' and 'ExtenZe'. Apparently, dateless men concerned about their sexual prowess are the only ones up late...

Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am... Posted May 9, 2009
Evening all...
Decided I need to get another job which involves twenty minutes of actual work per 7.5 hour working day as opposed to a job which has about 10 hours of work crammed into each 8.5 hour working day. Then I might get to spend as much time here as I used to.
*waves to all the unfamiliar faces.*
