I think it's Sidney and he leaves on Sunday, so he's beenn here a lot less -- schoolwork right up to Friday and then he's got Saturday for last-minute bits, and then he's off. So we're having his Bon Voyage Party on Thursday. Here. After 1800 hrs your time zone.
He'll be gone 5 weeks. Teeners being teeners, who knows how much he'll have changed when he gets back?

I take it he's staying with relatives?
Bondai will be a dissapointment, well it was for me. A lot smaller than I thought. Sydney is quite a nice city, though very cramped down by the harbour. Should be a good experience for him, though. Hope he handles the flights ok.

He's done it before. He has an aunt living there, so this is very much a family thing.
It's half-past midnight, so I'm going to get some sleep now. See you tomorrow -- I think you'll be glad to get on the OTD list. There are guest rooms here or you can just lounge about if you'd rather, and take your chances with Styx. He likes to give the ratflap a nice bang on his way in and out. Gnight!

Too bad he missed mardi gras. The gay parades are the best (yes, I've seen several- but not first hand )

Hi Sporky! Long time etc., etc., So when are you gonna populate the new site?

Researcher 99947 Posted Jul 11, 2000
which new site? Oh? Mine. Hmm... currently uploading. Not enough space, though, I *think*

is the start of my uploading crap. Not big enough though Wait... Isn't that a sign of something? If you find yourself repeating things over and over?
Anywho, that is my father's site, and I'm stealing it from him- shhhhh! I wish someone would host me, for free, on their own server. Ain't gonna happen though

Well, it's looking good so far
Did you lose much with the demise of the other?
I liked the colour scheme you used on the old one, very tonal

Right, did you get all your pics from the other site?
They are still available if you go here:

Nothing else is there, just these.
Any problems, and email me because I have taken a copy of them
Just in case

Hello Babel-17! Goodbye Babel-17!
Lil, think the statues are beautiful! It's almost like they are moving.
We have now booked plane-tickets to London, still haven't got a place to stay but I guess we'll find something
Is there any fresh coffee around here?

Phil Posted Jul 11, 2000
If there's no fresh cofee, just go and make yourself some.
*Takes a look in the fridge and moves some beers about to get to the OJ, finds some extra space and puts the beers that are on the side in*
So what are your plans to do while in this city where I live Bumblebee?

Bumblebee Posted Jul 11, 2000
*Plans. Yes, have to get us one of those...*
The main thing is to get out of my own city. Munchkin's talking about a beerfestival, but as we're (husband and I) bringing a nine-year-old daughter along I we have to think a little child-friendly also. When we start thinking that is.
Feel free to come with suggestions, I'd be grateful if you do!

If you can go to the beer festival then do so. There is a family room where some entertainment is laid on but it does say that you're to supervise your own children as it's not a creche. Other things to do, the usual touristy type things, the houses of parliment, buckingham palace & the changing of the guard, the museums (Science, Natural History, V&A) and galleries. Take a riverboat trip, go round the London Eye (big big big wheel). Then there is the possibility of getting out of London and spending some time in other parts, Edinburgh, Glasgow, York, Canterbury, Paris, Brussels.
A few ideas for you . If you want any more info then shout and I can look up stuff.
