Are you auditioning?

I'm not sure if Lil's question is aimed at me. My misspelling of the word AN as AM could be taken as an audition or even a plea to be reincarnated as a bottle of plonk.

How do I format [email protected] so that you click on it and that opens an email window?
That's OK about the typo. I am still uncertain whether DD wants platers or players in the new bond movie, per a recent post at the cafe.

Take lots of sunblock if yu're going to be in that cast. The first scenes are being played out in Persepolis, and I saw a trailer that says it's headed to Oahu sooner or later.

The syntax you're looking for is the address with a mailto:// in front of it. Well, not too sure about the punctuation after the mailto off the top of my head, but it IS prefaced with a mailto.

Months ago I asked Bruce the same question about email links. Alas, I forget the answer. I will check out some of his older posts and see if I can find it.

Apparently, this trick doesn't work in a text forum. I guess it doesn't pick up this bit of text as it does a hyperlink. Oh well. If you wanted to do it elsewhere, like on a guide page, you can... just stick that bit of code I posted above in an anchor tag, like this:

Crosswinds deleted my website... one that I took a lot of time on... one with a lot of graphics that I didn't back up.
I hope their raids burst into flames and consume the nearest 5 floors in a blazing wall of heat and smite

So the full address Lil wants would be? Or am I wrong?

Sporky commiserations mate. Did they give you a reason?

And of course you already know this, but it has to work just like a regular tag, so the whole thing would look like this:

I was coming back here to correct YOU after I sussed that the closing A tag was missing. It works, thank you.
I am going to have to do a lot better than 20 pieces in a day here, with this puzzle. But that will involve spending more time here.

Rebuke accepted. Next time I offer help, I will remember not to assume that you know how to operate a simple anchor tag.

Looks like all the talk was here last night (UK time).
Anyway back for another wonderful week at work after a rather tiring weekend helping some friends move house.
