I was referring to those Clydesdales that pull the beer wagon. I am sure you must see them on your side of the border, too.

Titania (gone for lunch) Posted Feb 5, 2009
Lately, when I've been saying 'nice horsey' I've been addressing one of these creatures (in MMORPG Entropia) that insist on running up to me to play when I'm trying to mine:

If Rosemary is the last regular salonista to appear in this thread, she gets to wear the pants in the next thread.
Thanks for the horse explanation. There does seem to be a sixth rider of Apocalypses, doesn't there. It makes me think of a Punch cartoon from way back that showed the 4 riders of the Apocalypse making their catastrophic way over the earth. One of them has turned to another and is saying, with a big smile, "Is this your first Apocalypse?"
Anyway, I'm trying to remember who they are. War, famine, plague, err-umm, Boredom and now Unemployment.

Conquest, War, Famine and Death were the riders and the horses were White, Red, Black and Pale Green.

Right, Death on Binky. The cartoon caption really should have read IS THIS YOUR FIRST APOCALYPSE?

Yes. Mort is one of the better ones IMHO.
Haven't read the most recent one unfortunately. I wonder if the library has a copy in stock or whether I'll need to order?

i havent read all that many of his books, but the ones i have, i love. Definitely haven't read the latest one. It's kind of funny, but i almost feel like i dont want to get to know his writing any better than i do, cuz i'll miss him so much when he can't write any more.

And don't forget the Death of Rats!
I was going for a kind of woad-y shade of blue with this tat and I think the artist hit on what I was looking for perfectly. It's a little more sore this morning, but there is almost no swelling now, so I'm pretty pleased. I shall simply have to ransack the home in which I am staying in search of pain relievers.

Small Gods has always been my favorite Pratchett novel from the Discworld series.
