Thanks, d'E. I had seen the dried slobber marks around the place, but had put that down to the escaped pseudo-rabid rapid rabbits that we had bred, just for their name. Plus, they make good watch creatures - scares the heck out of intruders to have them zinging around. Especially if the intruder has seen Monty Python's Holy Grail. Anyway, there's no need to worry, I've rounded up nearly all of them.


Ooooo, that's the part I need for the entropy filters! And I think it's only a little bent - I should be able to repair it and get the filters running again soon.

Yup. I made a post yesterday as BBW, but still had a window open here. I forgot that once you log in as someone else, it changes your identity in all of the windows you have open, even though they look the same. I used to get around that by having BBW log in using a different browser. Then I could have both id's logged in at the same time.

Apparently the is the closest it has been to the earth for a while and will appear bigger and brighter than normal tonight.

*squints out of the window and sees the clouds and rain*

Yet again I am going to have to take the bbc's word for that.

Oh, and my wishlist would include Red Dog and Redbeard. And Eomando, but I'm not sure she ever came to the Atelier - she hung out at Joanna's Doughnut Stall.

It was so bright last night that I thought I'd left my outside lights on. The weather should be clear again so I'll go out and have a look.

Don't mind me. We just had 4.4 inches of rain in the last 24 hours here. At least it wasn't snow.

I thought the looked bright last night, but assumed it was reflecting off the remains of the snow.

*waves to JJ from 6 hours north, though I'm still sceptical about that time--ie, Crescent City* Hm, if we ever make it down to HN's, it wouldn't be that long a trip to the Bay Area... Thought for a few days that we might get down that far for my birthday trip, but we won't be able to be gone long enough to make the drive worthwhile, and besides, if we go that far, we might as well visit family in Sacramento, but if we do that, we should really all of us go, but this will be the last chance to do a grownups-only trip for quite awhile... *would much rather obsess about this than that other thing*
