*enters, trying to look nonchalent, and trips over a chair*
*lacks motivation to get up*
Why must tutorial work happen on the same day as LARP and tiredness? Why?
Waily waily waily!

*generally mutters about having a cold*
I have managed to get through two days with paracetamol and ibuprofen, but still feel dreadful. Able to do my job ok, but needed a lot of caffine and antiinflammatories.
Another 12 hourer tomorrow, then back onto 9-5 for Tuesday, the 12 h on Wed and the rest of the weeek is only 9-5.

Basically I want some sympathy please.
If you could just leave it in this box here - thank you all ever so much.

Hey, I'm at home, still in pajamas, watching "Sunset Boulevard" and "True Grit". So put me down in the No Motivation on Sundays column.

I wonder why Americans don't name their houses like the British do--or did. Any thoughts? Were we trying to get away from the mother country? Too many different immigrants with different customs? I have to deal with a lot of folks from all corners of the Earth in my IRL job, and I'm always charmed when I run across someone in Britain with a named house like The Beeches or something.

I think you need to be wealthy enough to live in a detached house before you can start thinking about naming it .
Spending Sunday afternoon on the sofa watching classic movies is never a waste of an afternoon IMO

My parents named their house Ardhallow which means "holy hill" appparently. Our house is built on part of what used to be the Ardhallow estate, my great grandfather on my dads side was the last laird of Ardhallow. My parents are neither highly educated, nor do they earn a lot of money, we were left the land by my great grandfateher and had to fight for five years to get permission to build out house on it. Personally i wanted to name the housr "That an t'saile" (har an talle) which means across the sea in Scots Gaelic.

My parents always joked about calling the house the Whitsend Children's Home.

I spotted this ; http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/7718587.stm
A bystander claimed it started when the man with the big nose insulted someones wife .

I didn't feel very motivated either, today, after I accomplished New Conversation. I bought a pair of shoes online and played mah jongg on the computer, sold tickets and looked out the window. Life's in a sort of limbo till I find out the results of the interview.

I would sometimes like to say that my life has become kind of boring but then I realize that my life will be very interesting for many more years. What with the coming wedding and a couple of kids who will be teenagers in a couple of years.
I am off to bed.

I go away for the weekend, and look what happens?!? Actually, I'm glad we have a new conversation, now I can read the summary rather than the backlog.

Night all. I'll join the ranks of unproductive days, but I'm fairly okay with that!

I was too exhausted to race over. I'll just hang up my cane on the coat-tree by the door, and settle in the nearest clear chair... *hmmm, seems full in here today -- good!*
IIEM, may I have a large non-fat decaf , please?
Ahhhh...perfect.

I managed to make it to the store for toilet paper, and bought some stuff for Christmas. Although I'm not sure how I made it to over $100...

Morning All
Well done fellow scribes, good work. Admires himself in his new tee shirt and wonders at the wonders of the Atelier and the bottle of Chateau Petrus nestled in his hamper. Must make a note of that.
