Sorry to hear about your ISP Lil. Have they given any reason why it went up the spout?

They never give a reason, although they are good about posting a status report and they have a live chat tech support forum where you can find out what's wrong from a human. You only need to be able to get on the net to do that, which is why I still maintain my 10 year old subscription to Compuserve.

What a horrible afternoon.
*slumps back in easy chair with a scented sachet over her eyes*
Busy signals, disconnections, corrupted cookies so h2g2 didn't even know who I was, and over all the terrible terrible slowness...

*Mindspring looks guilty, then falls asleep again*

You think your afternoon was horrible. I had to go to school. And, I missed lunch to take a bible test (the one I missed during my suspension) which I did horribly on. Then I had a horrible baseball practice, as my reflexes are quite poor on this amount of sleep. Then I managed to catch the bus home, next to a girl who was listening to the same Britney Spears song over and over on her headphones. Bad enough when I couyld hear - worse when she staretd singing along. And through it all my allergies have been giving me hell...

but other than that it's a nice day

*Another explosion is heard downstairs. Affy runs in*

He's gotta be here somewhere!

*Begins looking under pillows, chairs, sofas, and the like. Doesn't even notice the odd looks people are giving him as he looks behind paintings. In exasperation, he sits down, and glares at a nervous looking Mindspring. A light goes off over Affy's head, and he runs over, and moves a rug that is right next to Mindspring's cage. A trapdoor is revealed. Quickly, the trapdoor is opened, and a shocked looking Ampton jumps out and runs downstairs*

I was starting to wonder where he went. Sorry everyone!

*Runs back downstairs*

Oh no! That just caps it! Ampton _is_ back to normal, and a pretty horrible normal it is, too.

Io, would you like some OJ? Is it hot in Merion? Cos it's furnace-like down here. How about OJ with Perrier water, on ice? Very refreshing.
