David, if you ever make it over near MR's neck of the woods you should go to my favourite restaurant in the PRK (people's republic of kalifornia). It's a Moroccan place in Newport Beach. Awesome experience.

For no apparent reason, I woke up at 7am today. I'm somewhat upset about that.
But morning, all. Cold, sunny, and windy here. Rumor is the snows are coming back for another go.
Did someone mention going to the gym? I have to start doing that again. I haven't gotten to it in almost 2 weeks.

Our conversion at work has begun. Dell is making my call center a business system technical support line instead of home user. I am getting 10 minutes between calls today, saturdays are typically our busiest day. I think I can expect more of this over the next 3-4 weeks. I will really have to resist the temptation to go home early now.

I woke up this morning feverish and grouchy, and have spent the entire afternoon watching the rugby, and feeling reasonably pleased at the assorted outcomes.
And I have done NOTHING else. All day. At all. Oh, wait, maybe I drank tea. And sneezed.
And I have ANOTHER piece of coursework to do by Wednesday. Am starting to feel put apon.

Ag, you need to tell the teacher to ease up! I'm sure he/she/it/they will listen...
Baclava is okay, but often too nutty or too sweet for me (not usually both...). Once I had some backlawa at an Afghan restaurant in North Beach in San Francisco. It was similar to baclava, but extra-awesome.
If California in general is the PRK, then the SF Bay area must be the Democratic Socialist People's Republic of Kalifornia.
But the shirts they sell there just say "People's Republic of Berkley." I found out too late they are a size smaller than the size on the label...

Bezerkelly is it's own planet I think. It seems to be the focal point of all of the weirdness and insanity that we have grown to expect from the PRK.

Tonight Lincoln is in lockdown.
Last Thursday, in Ruidoso Downs (where abides the Mighty WalMart), a deputy sheriff was shot in the head by a man with criminal records in 6 states. The shooting occurred when the deputy sheriff stopped the vehicle' later determined to be stolen, on a routine matter. He is in critical condition.
The suspect is officially labeled armed and dangerous, has gone to ground in the Capitans, and a manhunt is in progress. We've been told to lock everything, draw blinds and curtains, turn off outside lights, and stay indoors. It's disconcerting.

Just checking in to say we're all fine. I'm a light sleeper and would have awakened if there had been loud noises anywhere this end of town. If Sohrbeck (the perp) was in the Capitans last night, then he froze his criminal butt.

Apart from that it's a nice normal day. The butter is getting softer.
