Thought I'd add that my 'some of us' above was mostly aimed at myself & fellow Danes. As a people, we're not too good at taking into account peoples hardships when they come here. Not in the public debate, anyway.

Is it just me, or has this winter been particularly bad for colds/flus/sundry non-fatal illnesses. I swear, I get over one cold and another one hits me a week later. None of them last very long, but they're just annoying as all get out.

I've only had but the one issue of illness this winter, but it certainly did do me damage. I'd like to never get that sick again.

Just put a leg of lamb, inundated with garlic splits and fresh rosemary from the greenhouse, in the oven and is roasting it. In 10 min, the heat will go down and the potatoes/onions/beef stock will land under the meat for the next 1½ hours.

We at the Library of Doom have had a fun week moving at least fifty per cent of our stock (OK, so we have some help in the form of a team of burly men borrowed from somewhere or other) in order to make room for a law library. Then we had to tidy everything up and make new signage. It was different, and quite good fun in an odd sort of way, but I'm glad we reopen on Tuesday.

Also, LibrarianPear's operation went very well indeed. We heard from her husband yesterday.

Ag. Points worth contemplating - and then reviewing ones owns actions through time. Sig. S. has similar stories from when he came to Denmark some 40 years ago - and many still since then. It is only a couple of months ago I heard someone say the S-word about him. (Spaghetti).

Otherwise I think Santra has reported fairly on the common situation in Denmark according to foreigners - and the weather.

Sig. S. is doing exactly the same to a leg of lamb and potatoes as Santra right now.

Well it's Good Friday and I can report that absolutely nothing of interest has occurred around the bald blokes cave.

This is of course a good thing.

Mind you as expected the weather has turned nasty for the Easter weekend and will only brighten up once we all have to go back to work.
