Maybe it's that same odd syndrome that occasionally *actually* makes people excellent dancers, more attractive and more charming while drunk.

Tourette's? Isn't that the fancy French café down the block?

Courthouse today. And it's actually going to be rather nice out.

I'm just back from a short break with G and some friends to east Wales. The scenery was fabulous, especially as the weather was so good, and the company was great too. It is now a lovely afternoon here.

Will possibly post more when the computer/internet conection aren't being so slow.

STRANGELY STRANGE ( A brain on a spring ) Posted Feb 10, 2008
Indeed the weather has been really good this week in England and Wales. Yesterday was actually quite warm in the sunshine!

It is decidedly springlike, which is just as well when the washing machine is playing up, for sopping wet clothing can be hung outside instead of dripping all over the floor.

'Come on you Blues'
Sorry, had to get that off my chest.
For the none British salonistas, Manchester City have just beaten Manchester United away 2-1 in the Premier League. The last time we did that was 34 years ago! Get in! (as they say)

Congrats to Man City. I imagine that Ormy is beside himself with pride.

I don't support Man City- but it's always good to see Manchester United loose. I have had a deep and totally irrational hatred of them since I was a teenager.

I know nothing about football (American or European). I gather that Manchester is not, in fact, United?

Went out to the country today and saw a castle. Well, if I'm honest, saw rather a lot more of the inside of a leisure centre as B and Bro in law were really there to attend an audio technics show, but there was _also_ a castle and I saw it.

What's all this about spring weather? I went snowshoeing with a friend yesterday. The area we chose, Lolo Pass on the Montana-Idaho border, had at least eight feet of snow. It was truly a winter wonderland.

FG, could we have some of that snow over here, please? Long time since we've had such an abysmal lack of winter!
OK, I did enjoy being out training with yesterday together with 4-5 other dogs - in 8°C and sun. So did Corto . To the extent that he took a leisurely stroll, tail wagging happily, in the middle of one of his exercises. Good grief Other than that, it was OKish - first time in a few months he was out training with other dogs.
And today is Monday and I'm reading newspaper and peeking in here at 8:50am. Ahhh, the luxury of a vacation week
(being a Dane, I guess Man U has a certain ring to it - they had this Danish goalkeeper for quite a while and quite a number of cups )

No snow here either. I do hope we won't have a late winter like we had last year.
The Christmas was snowless, as was January and February. And then, in the middle of March just as the tulips and daffodils thought it was safe to come out, we got a full blown winter with lots of snow.
The flowers survived but, as one of my colleagues commented, they looked very silly with big flowers on tiny stems.
The magpies are busy flirting with each other - if they decided to nest now I'm not sure the s will survive a harsh late winter...
