according to that link it had 43 epsisodes, which would be at least two, and possibly as many fas four, depending if they were half or full length seasons, wouldn't it?
Or does that only apply to stuff from the last fifteen years? I really *am* feeling young!

Okay, if you want to trawl through every seventies program in the US, try this:

It's giving me flashbacks.

I really *am* feeling young now! I wasn't even born for over a decade after that page!

*gives Egon 'The Look'*
I've just come across a link to High Chaparral! That was my favourite. My first major crush was on Mark Slade who played Billy Blue.

It could have been a series about a newspaper perhaps?
I was bimbling about on Star Wars the other evening when someone was reminiscing about the 70s and one of the younger guild members (or guildies) said he didn't remember the 70s. So I blurted out that I could remember the 60s, pointing out that the reason why I remembered was that I was too young not to remember. This lad replied said he had no idea old people played online games .
Now, does anyone know of a good freeware program for converting wavs to mp3s? My car cd changer doesn't like copied wavs but will play mp3s on a disc. If not I shall have to follow Amy down that link and I'm not over keen on that area of hootoo these days. Apart from the DR Who thread.

A bit to young to help for 70's teevee here.
I rebuilt my main machine last night. Still have a lot of stuff to install. It took hours to back up my info to a shiny new hdd. It too over an hour, a Knoppix cd, and a bit of ingenuity from your freindly neighborhood Marv to get the bloody network interface driver installed.

I'd say get one based on the LAME (Lame is not A MP3 Encoder) coder engine. Way back when I knew someone who did some work that got included in the encoder (something to do with reprogramming how the FFT calculations were done so it was faster).

Lorne Green was also in Battlestar Galactica.

Indeed he was, isn't that series being remade?

*snidely to Egon* Young people will never catch up with us.
Dang it, who was Ben Cartwright's (Lorne Greene) third son? I think he was the eldest. Hoss was the dumb but affable middle one, and L'il Joe (Michael Langdon?) was the kid.

*decides to rub it in a bit more*
You know, I've seen my parents have discussions like this. But normally about Dallas.

Oh, and Marlon Brando just died. He was reportedly $20 million in debt and living as a recluse in a small cottage.

Now, are we sure he's dead? there appeared to be some confusion from what I could gather from an ask h2g2 thread.
