This says that I should be mostly sleeping from 3-4 p.m. which is just wrong. I am mostly sleepy from 0300-1200

You will start to feel noticeably tired at 13:00 and you will feel most tired at 13:00.
Well, at least it’s short-lived. That’s just after our lunch hour, so I know it’s probably a bunch of carbohydrates settling in for a nap, insisting I join them. There are also occasions where I find myself fight the eyelid droop just as I’m leaving work at 3:30pm. That makes for a rather challenging drive home. To combat it, I roll the window down or crank the A/C up.
Again, to the piercing issue: I’ve considered it. I thought it would be really cool to have one of those little “balls” on my tongue, just to drive my wife wild. Yet, I realized that I do that anyway, and the way it would affect my speech shot it out of the running. I consider myself to have a fairly “good speaking voice,” which I depended upon during a 3-year stint as a disc jockey at a Contemporary Christian Radio station in Austin, TX. Honestly, I have no desire to hobble myself in that category. Nipple piercing was something I thought I might get away with, but to be constantly aroused just wouldn’t do in my work environment. Besides, it’s mostly a male contingent in my department; no one to impress. In that respect, I respect my wife enough to not flaunt myself publicly. Such intimacy is between her and me, and we do things to get each other “revved up” that don’t depend on jerking a chain.
Ben, if things that need to come off well are articles of clothing, I’ll wish you all the luck in the world. You deserve a break today.
Ok, so I’m flirty; but I don’t flaunt.

I hate the clicking sound that people who have tongue studs make when they're tapping the stud against their teeth. It's usually the people who have just got it that do it the most. I guess I hate the sound because of the image it conjures in my mind: a solid metal object smashing into teeth. It actually makes my cheek bones hurt just thinking about it.

They're not taking environment into consideration in that quiz. One question might be, "Do you own a black cat who has perfected a way of making the screen door bang loudly, and who uses that skill between 6 and 6:30 in the morning to summon its owner? And if said owner goes back to bed after letting the cat in, does said black cat go to the cat door at the other end of the house, exit, amble round the house and bang on the screen door again?"

Re: piercings and tatoos.
I have pierced ears (though nothing in them) and a tatoo, and I inted on getting more ink. My next tatoo will be the walking hammers from Pink Floyd's The Wall. I am taking a good deal of time in figuring this sort of thign out, as I understand that this will be forever.
One of the reasons that people get tattoos and piercings is because of the pain it brings. The endorphin rush is like nothing I have ever felt before.

good point Lil
Or: Is 90% of your city currently under construction, and does said contruction involve using a massive 500 pound weight to drive a giant steel post into the ground at 7 AM?

What percentage of the endorphin rush is from the pain Marv? Is it really all from the pain, or is it also from the act of getting tatoo'ed?

My dentist in Florida told me he had to do a very large repair job to a young man's gums because he had got into the habit of rubbing his tongue stud against his gums just behind his front teeth.

I can't really say, Dave. All I can tell for sure is that the whole experiance was incredible for me. The way it feels is different than any other sensation I have ever had. That is why I want another one, to get that sensation again...

As bad a result I have had from ear piercings, I am never going to have my tounge pierced. The holes in my ears never really accept the rings and they heal up in a matter of days. While I did not mind getting the piercings, they just never took I guess.
Tounge piercings are bad enough, I can not even fathom getting a PA, apadravya, or nipple piercings. Nose rings are just unattractive to me, and I won't even go in to eyebrow or the large fish hooks people put into their backs.

Ears are one thing, I personally could not pierce anything else. I dislike eyebrow, nipple, and lip piercings among others. I do find some nose piercings kind of attractive.

I'm with you, dave. That clacking sound of a tongue piercing against teeth makes my spine crawl. Has anyone else read about the newest thing--eye jewelry?

Z, hasn't the exemption from duty jury for s been removed? Or about to be? There was a letter in our local paper about the cost of providing locums and stuff.

Hi all. Just wanted to stop in and say that I won't be around these parts much anymore. My posts here have become less and less frequent and I rarely feel I have anything to contribute anymore. Sorry to break into the conversation without reading the backlog but it will be the last time
Tootles.

Bye Sporky.
Ben
I always wanted a tattoo but never had the nerve. Too worried about what people would think, I suppose. And I had pierced ears, but they were constantly running and I let them grow closed.

Pop back whenever you feel like it.
The graph in that survey directly contradicted what I input.
It claims I'm at my most tired during the day at 17:00 which is odd as I put I'm at my best 17:00 - 22:00.
Me and mornings have an agreement not to bother each other.
Key: Complain about this post
