Listen to this Bush is using Clinton's Presidential library as an example that you cannot trust the Democrats to keep jobs in the USA. Apparently one of the firms, from New Jersey, contracted to provide display cabinets for the building in Little Rock has subcontracted out $90,000 worth of it to a company in Scotland for some specialist units. This company is one of two in the UK and a handful in the world with that particular expertise. The article I read did not say if any of the handful were American.
Now here's the crunch. The number of employees in this firm in Scotland which is costing American's so many jobs....
....30.
Yeah George thats the way to get the economy working.

Less than 24 hours to the start of Super Tuesday. Will it all be over by the end of tomorrow or will Edwards be able to take the fight on?

It will be very interesting if Edwards manages a sweep. There's something like 1100 delegates up for grabs tomorrow and that would have Kerry and Edwards in a virtual tie. However, if Kerry sweeps them, I think it is over.

I think the good ole' north south divide will determine who wins what states. I think edwards has a chance in southern states - I'd say 1/3 at best. It will be interesting.

Edwards is from the south, is he not? N. Carolina, I believe.

It seems the talk is of a Kerry-Edwards ticket. Apparantly this is why they are not bashing each other that much.

true - it's either N or S carolina. He won his home state earlier in the primaries, whichever it is. That's the only reason I think he might be able to take other southern states. It's what the talking heads say, that's where he's strong.

And the South won't go for a northerners only ticket.
Sad, that. You have to wonder if they're completely over the Civil War yet.

Not basshing each other. Edwards appears to have saved it to the last debate before Super Tuesday saying that Kerry was a Washington politico and therefore was just a contuinuation of the same. Mayeb a chance to change the agenda, maybe a last dith attempt to get his back off the wall. We shall see.

There was a little blurb in our morning paper about how the Republicans are forcing votes on hot-button topics--gun control, anti-homosexual marriage laws, abortion, etc., in the next few weeks in Congress in order to use Dems' votes as wedge issues this election year. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-TN, was quoted as saying that the G.O.P. wanted to keep Democrats from being able to talk about their favorite issues, education and health care.

There's an op ed piece in today's online New York Times that suggests having Bill Clinton run as vice president with Kerry. Seriously.
