I have a busy day. My building is going to be delivered today. I didn't find out about it until yesterday morning, so am having to get the foundation blocks, a dumpster, a ramp, etc. all delivered immediately. I was supposed to be given some notice.

Z dreading the start of the undergraduate term.

Z, I'm dreading that as well. Work is currently getting a bit hectic trying to finalise everything before the students start in a couple of weeks.

You wouldn't work for the university of Manchester would you by any chance? my little (ish) brothers starting in september, I can't quite get my head around the fact he'll be a mature student though!

Well, the Victoria University of Manchester (http://www.man.ac.uk/ ) and the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST - http://www.umist.ac.uk/ ) are going to merge at some point in the nearish future. Which will leave The Manchester Metropolitan University (formerly known as Manchester Poly - http://www.mmu.ac.uk/ ) as the only other university in Manchester.
It is in fact just round the corner in the MMU halls where I first met Amy the when she'd organised the accomodation for the spring onion.

I've done the interview and the survey contained only about a page or two on cars. The rest were socio/economic weighted questions, but I got my £10 voucher, which is for M&S.

Phil, I've arranged accomodation in manchester met halls, I'll try and make it to the next flat cap and muffler club meet. But is not very adbundant at present.

The foundation blocks are on site. Can't get the dumpster folks to call me back. The architect is running late so I'll have a room full of local politicians to pacify until they get here. Someone shoot me, please.
