Woodworking, Amy? Would that make you a carpenter ?
> obtained £25.00 from gas suppliers
How in the world did you manage that, ltp?
Only 31, Agapanthus? Shoot, youse a youngun! You're going to need this... It's an official sign saying you're now an adult. Mine has come in handy on many an occasion.
We've decided that now that my dad has a doctorate in Science Education, he can have cheese drips in his beard.

Ag, I'm a lot older than you, but damned if I'm going to act my age either. As for a can can on the quadrangle, my can can't can anymore, but I would join in the festivities in other ways.

Happy b'day, Ag. Here are more knitting needles and an endless ball of yarn.

Oh Ag, you are so young. Sadly, I cannot can the can in this outfit, but I will demonstrate how we used to do the Funky Broadway if you'll share that champagne.

A very happy 31 to you, Ag <- a bottle of glue that will only stick on book pieces, never on fingers or hair
*looks out the window and to his surprise can actually tell that the sun's actually yellow*
Nice weather - which is nice (*crosses fingers hoping that it lasts just a little bit*) given that the SG V entourage is off to Sweden by late afternoon.
No computers etc up there - so save a comment or two during the day, I'll seem silent until Monday probably.

Happy Birthday Ag! My Mum spins her own wool *considers* Well, it's not her wool but the wool of some sheep, but... anyway here is some.
Speaking of refrigerator moments... I took this morning off work to go to the dentists and I've just realised the appointment's tomorrow. Pants.

Looks at his webs and rocks from web to web, thank you so much for my plaque, it's very well carved. I shall hammer a large nail into the office wall and hang it below my Despair Inc calandar.

Happy Birthday Ag! *hands a her a unwrapping reveals a PDA which holds an infinite supply of knitting patterns*
A bulldozer was left outside the houses most affected by the planning application for 14 houses over several backgardens. Not having heard anything on the subject for months, after the outline planning application was refused on appeal, I have a nasty feeling about this.

Happy Birthday Ag. Hands over a of an ornately carved brick. The brick has the names of all the great writers neatly carved into the sides. It's a writers block
That doesn't sound too good Caer.

Great dress Ag! Happy Birthday (don't know about you, but I found 31 *so* much easier than 30) <- it is a box of children's party games (all not terribly appropriate for your current outfit, but that was the point ) and dressing up gear, who says you have to grow up?
Caer, that is worrying. Does your planning office have a website where that sort of thing is tracked? In our village the planning appeal has been refused for knocking down one industrial building (it was a builder's yard, not very large) and replacing it with 14 two bedroom flats. There isn't room on the road for anyone to park as it is now and the rest of the road is small cottages and houses - it has been rejected at every local stage. They have now taken the appeal to the Deputy PM's office, we fully expect them to bless it
Ben, it wasn't anything massive, just a thread I started to discuss something had about 50% of posts saying that the question shouldn't even be raised. I didn't think we worked like that?
Is the weather forecast improving for friday? It was cooooold this morning
