Now if we could just get it to stop...

Merry Christmas!
I'm enjoying a glass of whilst admiring the Palm Tungsten from H. I was very surprised as I had just taken over his Vx as my V had given up the . Most of my favoutite apps such as Listmaker and EatIt (calorie counter) don't work, but I shall have fun looking for replacements. Any suggestions?

Chris, I always thought Oxford was over-rated.
Off to wrangle the turkey into the fridge, after Cassie has had some.

I certainly hope it remains a slightly-brown Christmas here, as I am 80 miles from home and have to drive back along a lonely twisty highway that goes up and around several lakes and rivers and is a veritable death-trap when it's icy.
In the package, Witty, was a gift from someone who knows what I do for a living and where some of my interests lie: a coffee table book about Montana's ghost towns.
A toast! Happy Holidays to all of you!

Well, ok, so I don't appear nearly enough here. I realize this, but at least I bring tasty things when I do get here.
Happy holidays to one and all. I'm off to work.

Merry Christmas everyone! I've brought you all e-books! *places a heap of packages under the tree, identical in shape but wrapped in different colored papers and ribbons* And I'm stocking a bunch of titles in the library for everyone to share.
I have an idea: let's put the fountain in the room with the hot tub, but in a corner where we can see it in the salon. Do you notice how the... stuff is flowing around on the ceiling? That would be really neat to look up at when you're in the tub!
I've just found out I don't have to cook. We're going over to neighbors later on this afternoon.
The luminarios were a flop this year. Some of the oldtimers have resigned from the Pageant Committee, and this year's crew left the brown paper bags outside, where they got snowed on and thus rendered sopping wet. So they wouldn't stand up right. And when they went to light the candles, most of the bags caught fire.

Morning all. Some joker decided that people needed a "White Christmas" so it has started to snow. Not much yet, but it was enough to cover my explorer. Ah well, I can't expect a year free of the falling white death.

*s Lil* I'll try to do better. I really will.
Oh, c'mon, Marv. Its not *that* bad. And I blame Lanny for being that joker.
*offers everyone a chance at the nuts and eggnog*

It's pouring buckets here on the shore. However, my sister says it's a slurry up north and it's only 90 miles away. I'm not too worried about getting to her house, but getting home will be a challenge as it changes over to all snow.
Hiya, Gw7en.
Chris, I think you've outdone yourself with the fountain.

I got a Motorola V60 mobile and a bottle of Veuve Clicqout LaGrande Dame. I new gadget and champagne... I'm quite content. Oh, and lots of new DVDs for the whole family and a digital cable box.

I've invented a new Christmas trifle. Take some amaretti biscuits, soak in brandy. Add some compĂ´te of dried fruits (figs, prunes, apricots)... and perhaps a splash more brandy. Hic. Top with greek yoghurt sweetened with a little vanilla sugar and then decorate with toasted flaked almonds.

Not for me, Amy. But I'd love some butternut soup if anyone has spotted some...
Well, last night brought us 21 inches of snow. Definitely a white Christmas, definitely a horrible driving debacle. Took us three hours last night, with only eight inches on the ground, to drive 30 miles home from a day at my Grandmother's.
Anywho, it is now 10 AM here and I am at work... doing next to nothing! When I arrived at 9.30 (1/2 an hour late as it took almost two hours to plow the drive) there were only three other people here! Argh.
Blah. I hate snow in quantities over two inches.
