I don't think he was a real Guru... *points to her silver guru badge next to her Blue Peter badge* ...I couldn't see his badge - although it's not entirely clear where he would pin it.


*fishes the batteries out of the Glögg*

It's not safe to drink it now due to the heavy metal content.

*tips the used Glögg over the side of the haywain* it make a noise that sounds suspisciously like the last two bars of Ace of Spades as it hits the ground*

*worriedly peering down into hole, looking for Zeppo and Madame Ruppy*

/* Zeppo emerges from the hole, totally covered in mud. He spots the tree sliding away in the snow, grabs a branch and begins pulling it back. */

/* d'Elaphant grabs the dog sled harness and chases after Zeppo */

*the haywain comes out of the hairpin bends and, seeing a straight run, Amos clicks Bonnie and Clyde into a canter*

Amos: We'll be past those trees and the lurkers' cottage before ye know it! *darkly* And those of ye who must meddle with magic forces can jist come back in do it in their own time. I'm not endangering the animals again.

*Mindspring, sensing the increased speed, sticks her head out the side and enjoys the wind blowing into her face*

We appear to have left Titania behind.

*looking back* Really? I thought she was with the dog sled.

*still peering into hole that Zeppo just jumped out off, wondering where Madame Ruppy is*

Ludwig - search! *points to hole*

*Ruppy emerges from the hole with something, probably a rock in her mouth. She rushes to the dog sled, giving Carmel barely enough time for a flying Tim Mix mount. Ruppy leaps onto the dog sled, spins once, and settles in comfortably for the ride home. Carmel is under the Pug's chin.*

Bother! Well, there's nothing for it, when she setles in like this she won't be moved.

*Ludwig appears from hole too, looking disappointed that he didn't get to rescue Madame Ruppy and become a hero*

Don't mope, Ludwig, come here!

d'E, is Zeppo ready to pull the dog sled again?

*snuggles down in the hay*

/* Hitches Zeppo up, get's on the sled with Madame Ruppy, and heads back towards Titania. Looks at Madame Ruppy */

*Amos eases the horses back to a jog as the wain crosses the ford and the warm yellow lights of H2G2 Village become visible. The harness bells make a pleasant seasonal jingle*

Amy, I love the way you decorated Graphic Ants!

*also snuggles up in the hay*

*Overhears Amos's comments and grins to himself as he fingers the Faberge eggs in his pocket. The grin momentarily freezes as he thinks he feels some movement inside one of the eggs, but relaxes again when the movement isn't repeated.*

*wakes up in a parallel universe*

Didn't we all used to live in The Town on h2g2 Island? And what decorations? Where?

*looks at the windows of Graphic Ants as the haywain approaches the junction of Bridge Street and The Square*

Oh those! I think Bagpuss must have decorated the windows for me and I presume TPTB organise the street lighting.

Not sure where I used to live in H2G2. I currently alternate between the backrooms at CLI and my tree in the Magick Forest.
