it's the same in Munich today. The forecast anticipated heavy thunder&lightning but all that appeared was a little bit of rain. *warm* rain. The temperature didn't drop at all!

SWR3 says the same... And for the Black Forset tonight is a *very* warm night

yesterday hot summerday, but now the day started with a soft warm rain ... why is this allways, that the bad weather starts before the weekend?

An ice for me, please

This evening we had dinner at an Italian restaurant outside (on the Königsplatz for those of you who know Germersheim)

Why is it that eating outside here is just not the same as eating outside in Italy. Even if the temperature and the waiters and the food are just like in Italy? Is it the smell, or the cars, or the lack of children yelling in the streets at 10.30 at night? The atmosphere is just not quite right, even though the food was nice.

Oh - and the gnats, of course ... we all got bitten to death. (Only available in Germersheim)

now that latter one is only because you're right in the Rhine valley and those s are breeding like hell in summer!
