We have to elect our local Mayor soon. I thought I was not involved until I got a Wahlbenachrichtigung the other day. Damn. Now I've got to decide between 5 wimps and a rep. With my boss playing NSDAP music full blast in the next room, it's getting pretty unbearable around here.

... Berlin needs a new mayor too and the choices are also not that good. To me it seems like a little Provinzposse ... better than every cabaret ...

There's something about that fella.
There's NOTHING about ANY of the prospective candidates for Germersheim.
We do have a very high proportion of right wing politicians here. Reasons: (a) high proportion of foreigners, but mainly (b) high proportion of military.

Hi. My suggestion of the day is, to visit the "Theresien-Bräu" in the Maria-Theresia-str. in Insbruck (Tirol). They have very good standard beer, and at the moment they offered rye-beer, which is a little like an "dunkles Weizen". And it´s quite a nice place.
Yes, ít´s time to go back to work, isn´t it? Summer nearly over 
I am going back on tuesday, so I will have a realy lazy day today...

Methinks, the weather wil not be that good (wow! we had an awfull Gewitter yetsterday evening!), but it's ok as for me. I wanna get some time to walk on the beach, to read, to relax

Oh yes, the lightshow from yesterday made the news. Munich got only a bit of rumbling from a distance.

Well the weather now has changed awfully. I wasn´t able to do my cycling to work today, and dentist, and late hours.
