PLEASE bug me to write this, or give me a deadline, or something, else it'll never ever get done. It's the 'homework' effect, you see. If I have an assignment with no deadline, it never gets done, especially if it's self-assigned but for someone else (like this), or for my own 'improvement'.

'Improvement' being things like actually doing what my parents constantly nag me to do without being asked. And more.

Okay, to pull a date completely at random...
How about 14 October?

Hmm... That gives me... *quick calculation* one and a half months (not feeling like being precise at the moment). Okay, will try.

Great! I'll check it out in a bit - I'm in the middle of my Monday morning catch-up (holiday yesterday).
I knew you'd be back

Ugh! That was a bit morbid.
Hi again! At the risk of being greedy (a risk I'm always willing to take), I would like to try my hand at Ramakrishna if he's still going begging (ahem!)... which he's not, of course:
a. because he's dead, and
b. because that was just a stage along the spiritual journey, and
c. taking alms isn't begging anyway
so there!

Jtg, I'd be pleased if you would do your best with Ramakrishna
And loup, if you really want a deadline, how 'bout (to pick another date completely at random *gets out darts and aims at calendar*)....
7 November.

Hey broelan...
What about putting the links to the Entries on the list like?
* Henry Rousseau etc... (pin) finished. Entry here: LINK
* Ho Chi Minh etc.. (JTG) finished. Entry here: LINK
* Sholom Aleichem etc.. (Hell) finished. Entry here: LINK
So we also know what's finished and what is still WIP.

I can't think of a single good reason why I didn't think of that. Of course! I will take care of that sometime today. Thanks for suggesting it

Hi Broe... I've been busy... if anyone else wants John Wilkes Booth, I'll give up the rights. If not, I'll do it myself... eventually.

I am in no hurry at all . The deadlines were purely for the benefit of people who asked for them, and they can be extended. Most of the names still haven't been claimed, and I don't expect to have this anywhere close to finished unitl after the first of the year, I'm sure.
Take your time, and if you find later that you just won't be able to finish it let me know and someone else can take it over.
