*he sighs and rubs his forehead again*

The person we saw distantly watching the aftermath of the the school being cleared, I have a feeling is staying here. I cant do anything currently and even if I could I have no proof as yet, most people believe it to be an accident. I wont have you staying here just incase I am right, understand?

*she sits up straighter, ready to argue for once*

Many other people will be staying here tonight, I don't see you telling them to stay elsewhere. Why am I different?

*growls angrily and takes a gulp of his drink*

Because I dont want you staying here

*her natural shyness is begging her to back down, but for some reason she perseveres*

But why?

*Turns a glare on her*

Because I dont want you to get hurt

*turns back to his drink and glares into it*

*cowers visabley under the glare and wraps her arms protectively around herself*

But why not everybody? Why just me? </>

*slams his drink down on the table in annoyance*

I dont care about everybody! But fine, stay if you want!

*he tosses a few coins onto the bartop and strides out of the bar*

Remains invisable, places hand on captains chest, stoppping him from leaving. telepathically communicates.
Go back, she needs you, go back, brave captain.

*distressed she sits for a few moments before following him; she leaves her books behind, hobbling as fast as she can*

*stands in the doorway look confused that something is stopping him leaving*

Go after her, you fool, go, quickly before she gets too far.

*almost crashes into him but stops just in time; she whispers loud enough for him to hear but no-one else*

Why do you care? I have done nothing for you and do not deserve your attention...

*beats a fist against the doorframe in irritation, then looks back at her*

*sighs, then pushes hard against the unseen person blocking his way and finally escapes into the crowd*

*calls after him*

Please come back, I need to speak with you...

*she reaches out, she can feel him moving quickly away*

*determind she strikes out into the crowd, ignoring the pain in her ankle*

I have more important things than star crossed lovers. I must go in search of the females assasin and her boss.

* steam risises from the two warm ales, whilst dew gently rolls down the silver tankard. thinks: Despite appearances to the contrary, LW must be from overseas as he has yet to adapt to British warm ale *

Turns to LW < The hounds awai.... LW?> *shucks. Bet he's gathering information again. How he keeps track of what has value I know not, but he trades well>

Turns tu Hus.

Quaffs the warm ale bar the last swig and places it in front of 'sleepy'. Takes the second warm ale and pours some into a silver bowl which he seems to produce from nowhere. Placing it on the floor whence slurping noises are heard. Notices that the cold ale is now only half full. Grins.
