Hi! I'd like to register as a Speaker and a Teacher. I'm mostly interested in keeping up my skills, but I'm also willing to help people out who have questions. My number is U187885.

Salut - hi there! I'll go and put you on the page now. It seems I'm teaching around here, so I'm sure I'll get round to doing something at some point Good luck with your GCSE - and as long as you can get by with a few French phrases, feel free to drop in and chat whenver you like; don't worry about checking a dictionary if you have to, we can't tell from here! And don't tell the others, but I do it all the time anyway...

Bonjour mes ami(e)s!
Since i have lived in France for about 5 years, i *should* be fluent, but i am far from that, i just about get by. Not too bad at reading it, but hopeless at grammar rules and pronunciation is a joke!
Most of my friends are French and they sort of understand what i am getting at, and vice versa...but i realise i am making horrendous errors. (It's when they visibly cringe that gives the game away!)
Salut!

Hi there I seem to remember you being here at some point before... *eyes glaze over as Joe C's mind drifts off into the sunset*.
Ahem. Sorry about that. I'll go and write you into the table, and in the meantime, feel free to wander round, talk, practise, learn, and so on

Eep!
Could you pretty please include a translation of absolutely EVERYTHING you say in other languages - whether fluent, semi-fluent or pidgin? We have to, in accordance with the loophole in the House Rules that we exploit...

TRANSLATION;
ER (?ER?) yes (local Charentais French argot) but i am pretty (as in un peu; ie not very) terrible.
I think i NEED the language (to be given to me), not to give it (to others)?

Hello! I was ranting about my poor French skills in the German beginner thread with someone else, and the German people suggested I come here... and I am bored... so I thought I'd actually do it... HI!!!! Ummm... Bonjour? Did I mention that my French skills are very poor... and everything I know, I seriously doubt I can spell...
Right... onto business...
