Musical History

Welcome to the Musical History wing of the h2g2 Historical Society.
Music goes way back. Back when we were running around in loincloths made from last night's supper, we had music. And not just banging a couple of rocks together either, flutes have been found dating back thousands of years.
Here are some Guide Entries on a variety of historically musical subjects, from guys who were castrated to make their singing sound better, to guys who think they sound better if they sing like they're being castrated.
