I'm far to happy to get into that right now. Anybody else ever spend an evening doing Tai Chi and eating Chinese food? No? Well I suggest you try it one day. It's great.

As long as you don't gorge yourself too much... but it is a recipe for insomnia, I'll admit - or is that the black bean sauce?

Hello!
This where I sign up for the FFFF? If so then I would like to be a member. I would also like to name my chair Dave.
You may also be interested to know that I have a poem at http://www.h2g2.com/A484427 which compares God to Hitler. You can link to it if you want.

Cafram: a name that needs no lengthening, unashamed or otherwise, to create interest. Does it have a deep and meaningful derivation, or is it just (!) a name?
At the risk of lese majeste, may I pre-empt our Glorious Leader (the good Colonel) and welcome you to the unsavoury ranks of the FFFF. Welcome to you and to Monsieur D'Eath!
Pattern-chaser
P.S. Do you think cream-pie throwing is a little too intellectual for this forum...?

Definitely not. We've debated such monumental topics as God and not-God, so why not step up to the next level and start throwing s?

Well, folks, I put the final polish on my now obsolete guide entry concerning "God", just to get it cleared up and out of the way before it is brutalized for use in that big collaborative entry. Thanks all for the support and input and such.
Speaking of the big collaborative entry, I seem to notice a tendency to not get many replies to whatever I happen to post. Am I boring, incomprehensible, looney, or some combination thereof? Geez.
Anyways, now that that's all settled, I should say that I've been out of the H2G2 loop for several months, and I have no idea how to do all those new little emoticons that people keep putting in all their posts. Where can I go to see a list? The little smiley-face satan is great.

This is the place to go my friend:

just point the cursor on the smilie you want to adopt. Don't click though. In a second or two the cursor will show you what to write between the < >'s in order to create the smilie in question. Best of luck

Of course there is a deep and meaningful derivation! I'm not quites sure what it is, but I'm sure we can figure something out between us...

I am feeling with you about "brutalized". Your entry is a piece of literature and should be treated like that! I love it.
I think the whole discussion about entries and what they should look like is not good. H2G2 would be very more informative and fun if all entries belonged to their researchers and were kept to date by them.

I think people only tend to reply to things which they are offended by - you're probably being too nice and pleasant and tolerant...

You're not boring, TG. Looney, perhaps. But not boring.
Perhaps we respond to you less simply because we have become accustomed to your presence. For many of us, you've lost your power to shock and amaze. This is, perhaps, more a reflection of our short attention spans than anything else. But please don't take it as an insult.

I only have a short attention span for boring things... or when there's chocolate to be had.

Anyone up for bringing me back down to Earth? I just had an unusual experience, and suddenly feel myself becoming more supersticious. I know it's unhealthy, but I'm having trouble fighting it off all the same. Click on my name to visit my page and read the journal entry on my *fortune* cookie. Any reasonable interpretations of the event are welcome.
