Wow! I love that voice!!!!
Jeni X is a good singer, but I've only heard her performing "You Drive Me Crazy" by Britney Spears. She was very good!!!
Erm, I'm sorry but I don't like Satan being involved in that last song. I'm kinda against him and all other evils. Satan sux. A lot.
About that Mulder thingy, I also knew someone else who used to want Mulder....but I won't embarrase any more people! Y'know Jeni X will kill me when she reads that post I posted earlier about her and Mulder.....

Hey, it's only a song!
People tend to think that anyone involved in metal is an antichrist. And you get people that give it the image i.e. Slayer, Dennis Stratton etc.
But, of course, you get the normal people who just play metal because it's their sort of thing.
But my favourite crazy person in rock has to be Paul Di'Anno. Plus he's got a cool name, which I've used for my character in the Watership Down role-playing stuff.
The X Files seems to have largely disappeared from people's memories. Even I'd forgotten how good it was. BBc needs to do some advertising.
Oh Katsey, you've just written off the rest of the songs I was gong to sing!
Hell Awaits, The Anti-Christ, War Ensemble, South Of Heaven, Raining Blood, Altar Of Sacrifice, Jesus Saves, Dead Skin Mask, Seasons In The Abyss, Mandatory Suicide, Angel Of Death, Hallowed Point, Blood Red, Die By THe Sword, Black Majic, Captor Of Sin, Born Of Fire, Postmortem, Spirit In Black, Expendable Youth & Chemical Warfare.
A curse on Slayer for tainting the good name of heavy metal.
Why did I end up like this? Go on, email me and ask why I've ended up so screwed.
ps the song I was singing was The Number Of The Beast by Iron Maiden. got to #1 in 1982.

*offers Irving a choccy * cake is coming soon! Thing is that you should be quite undrunk as the party has only been going for 22 hours, and you've only just arrived. You've still got another year before it finishes.
Er, Mike A, if that's what you're into, at least I now know why my bruv is slightly crazy....I've seen Aerosmith everywhere in his room, plus many others. BTW, my big sis used to be a punk, still is in a way. Yup, she's got the body piercings.....got chucked out of school aged 17 for having pink hair, and other colours included green and blonde....sad really.....especially as our sixth form now has that dotted all over the place....

drunk? Who said anything about being drunk? I've never actually been drunk, but I've often had a bit too much coffee for my own good. It makes me talk really fast. Sortoflikethisyousee?

Arrives back to see that the party is in full swing! Notes the mention of heavy metal bands... all trends started somewhere and those who started this, mixed a few quieter numbers too... Pulls a radio mike out of nowhere, clears his throat and in a rather good imitation of Ian Gillan's voice, launches into:
CHILD IN TIME -Deep Purple 1970
Sweet child in time...
You'll see the light...
Lines drawn between...
Good and bad.
See the blind man...
Shooting at the world...
Bullets flying...
Hmmm, taking toll.
If you feel bad...
Oooh Lord: I bid you health
And you've not been hit
By the flying lead.
You'd better close your eyes...
Ooooh, bow your head...
Wait for the ricochet.
--
Heavy metal, even from its roots really is limp in solo vocal, it *needs* the guitars, the keyboards, and full drum kits.
And while I've got Deep Purple fresh in the topic of conversation, there is a classic stage direction aside to the sound crew, on the "Made In Japan" double live album: "Can we have everything louder than everything else!"

*help!*
I'm trapped in the back of the kitchen!
There are some many people I can't move!
Hey... Is that a bowl of doritos?
Okay! I'm fine!

Mike A (snowblind) Posted Jan 24, 2000
Mmmm, Deep Purple.
Can't remember who it was but there was an Iron Maiden guitarist involved in Ian Gillan's band (Gillan) at some point.
I find that punk story sad...people shouldn't be treated like that for simply being themselves.
Still, there's more to me than metal. I'll just sit at the back with the band and play some good old fashioned blues for you all.
Here's a sweet number called West Coast Idea...
Oh and can I have a popper please?
