*Syian comes round slowly, she shakes a little but calms when she sees Lumien*

I think we're somewhere outside of Oane. I'll send Chandra to scout around.

*She summons the hawk, and sets her flying.*

*touches her face and winces, it is tender and already beginning to bruise*

We're both OK. Kala might need some help, though, if she ever lets me get close enough!

*The dragon has several wounds from the two rounds against the orcs.*

Kala...*Syian stares severely at Kala who whines and lies down at Lumien's feet, docile*

*Concentrates on healing the dragon, and smiles as its wounds begin to close.*

I've gotten stronger...

*she edges away from Kazinishi*

*Finishes with Kala, and gives her a tentative pat on her huge head. She notices Chandra in the sky above.*

Oi girl! Is anything out there?

*Chandra circles lower and says [Three orcs travelling alone, about two days away]*

*Kala nuzzles Lumien to show they are now friends*

That's a bit of a relief- we'll be safe for a little while, anyway.

*She strokes Kala's scales.*

I'd feel better back in Imardin, though.

Then if you wish we can start to head back there

*she looks longingly at the water, her mother's spirit rising in her*

*Sees her watching the water.*

We can follow the river if you want- goes right by it. That's where Imardin's water supply comes from.

Yes....yes *she smiles vividly*

I don't think she'd be very happy in Imardin... we might have to let her go...

*Kala snorts at that suggestion and goes close to Syian*

Then I will not go back, I will not leave Kala now

I'm sorry, OK? But let's just cross that bridge when we come to it!

Kala really won't like this, but it would probably be safer for us to go on foot. Less chance of being spotted by unfriendly eyes.

*to her surprise Syian looks happy at travelling on foot and immediately dives into the water, she remains underwater.....*
