*Kala growls but moves into a submissive position*

*the word will not come out and instead Kala roars her anguish*

She's as safe as she can get without an army being between us and her father- besides, I have a lookout, and I left a guard.

*Kneels next to Kala and begins the healing. She is getting tired.*

Just relax, it makes it easier... I need you as soon as you're well to take Syian back to Imardin, even if she doesn't want to go. It's the only place that I know how to find that she will be safe. There is another dragon there, a red one, Ignatius, so be prepared...

<*Psst* Shaylar is in Oane at her Coral Cottage>

*During a lull, Lumien sends a mind message to Shaylar.*

~~Lady Shaylar- can you hear me? We're out of Yurick, we're in Oane now!~~

~~~Lumien, thank god you are alive come through the gates I will let the guards know to expect you I will wait for you there~~~

~~No good- neither Syian or Kazinishi can move under their own power at the moment, and we've got an injured dragon as well. *Gathers her strength, and continues healing Kala. It was a very deep wound.*

*Footsteps are heard*

*Concentrating on the dragon too fully to mind-message.*

*Santh is watching the rescue party from cover in the brush.*

[Santh] Prega! Dis is whut master wuz talkin' about!

*Prega motions behind him, and the orcs in the woods rapidly outnumber the guards. They sit and wait in ambush.*

*Shaylar hears rustling in the brush and motions the soldiers to be quiet, a bolt of lightning hits the brush and it bursts into flame*

Come out come out wherever you are, if you comne out peacfully and surrender to the soldiers I will put out the flames, if not, you will burn

*Hears the commotion, and has barely enough energy left to respond*

~~Shaylar, no! Syian and Kazinishi are there too...~~

*Slumps over, out of energy.*

*Prega gives a wave of his hand, and eight orcs jump the party from behind.*

*Puts the fire out with rain, keeps it raining so the ground is turning to mud*

Lieutenant take Lumien and the others out of here take the dragon with you I will deal with them, kill any orc coming your way

*The Lieutenant relays the orders and starts to gather the injured, the stable girl goes to lumien and help her with the dragon*

[SG] Please Lady we must get out of here, let me help you with her

*Lumien is barely coherent, but some sense makes its way through the haze.*

Kala... listen...

[SG] Lady please we must go, I have medicine for the dragon

*She starts to tend the dragon, who seems to understand that the girl is trying to help*



Shaylar forms a wall of ice around the little party, confusing the orcs and making them take a detour*

Lumien, Lieutenant we must hurry

*Lumien can't even think straight- she is singing in a language she doesn't know.*

*Runs over*

Lumien come on snap out of it, it's Shaylar, we have to get you out of here, the soldiers have Syain and whatever his face is we need to move come on

*Grabs her and pulls*
