[Ecg]: *Wonders if he perhaps came to the Guild at a bad time, then puts the thought aside (since he might as well see about working with it).* *There is an important lesson in trying to accept what you can change (to remain accountable for what effects it may produce) as well as what you cannot, and to know the difference between the two. Mother once said that to me... The next part,-was it?* *remembers a little* "...to work around/in spite of what I cannot (change)..." *Apologizes for thinking aloud.* "I'm , that was sort of a maxim that I can remember my parents saying...when I was littler. I can't remember the rest of it so well..." *Shuts up and listens intently*

zikAsk Lady Alicia if she knows where Lycan is
Ecg I understand you have been practising sword techniques when I expressly told you not to, where your magic has improved your understanding of my orders has not, I think a day in Kate the Cook's company will unblock your ears and make you a little more receptive to my rules
I'm glad to see your manners have improved Ezekial

[Ecg]: (sulkingly) : "Yes... Ma'am" *Does not even bother trying to point out to her that years of normal fighting training notwithstanding.../Does not use a sword* *No, that would most certainly be viewed as insubordination,- so I'll just let teacher to think what she wants for the time being...d@rn. I just wanted to try and prove that I could do stuff too...* "Lady Shaylar,-, where is this Kate the Cook's place at? I hate to admit it, but I haven't taken the time to explore the city or town much...I went almost directly from the shore to here. Don't get me wrong,-the ocean and the sea make pretty good sense (already navigated through there for a couple days...)..."

[Ecg]: *Tries to be understanding* *Afterall,- If I were in her shoes,-I'd probably dress him (I mean me/, down for that sort of thing too...* *He himself goes }Sigh{ this time* "Thank you Ma'am. I just wish," "... That I knew more." ~I won't do it again. Really...~ *Gosh,- if I'd known I'd have to give up fighting in order to learn magic...This may just be tougher than I thought* *Resolves to try and rise himelf to this new and most peculiar challenge*
(Then to Thurin) : ~Quite unlike any other test I've had to take before... No fighting?! Oh, well... It is a challenge though...~ *At this he starts to cheer up* ~I will look forward to this new challenge~

[Ecg]: "Well, then,-If it is to the kitchen that you want to send me,-then alright... ,-does that mean that I'm dismissed Ma'am?"

*Ecg goes to the kitchen before he can go and find himself getting into any worse trouble* The sound of his wooden sandals slap, slapping can be heard as he shuffles across the hall*
