*Sit's opposite Thurin and puts her head in her hands*

That boy's going to be the death of me, if his lack of magic doesn't kill me, my exhaustion after having run all over the guild trying to keep up with him will

*Thurin looks at her intently*

[Thurin] Have you wondered if it's the type of magic he's trying to do?

He calls himself an elementalist but all I've seen is a puff of wind, a spark of fire and a splash of water.

[Thurin] But you're asking him to do wizard magic. Have you tried him with witch magic?

Witch magic? Black magic? or White magic like the caretakers?

*wanders in quietly scratching vaguely at the cut on his arm from his battle in the arena with Ecg and picks a book from the libary settling down at a desk and glancing across*

Thurin, Shaylar *he smiles* I just had an encounter with that student of yours. And you thought I was a handfull?

*Sighs*

Was he fighting you?

*he closes the book and grins* We were having a practice battle in the arena, dont worry hes not badly injured. He has strength, but not technique. Being a magician I would have thought perhaps technique over strength would be preferable? *he smirks and looks away from her studying the cover of his book*

*Cú limps in clutching his right elbow. His face has a nasty cut and his robes are splashed here and there with black orc blood*

Sorry there folks. I was wondering if you Lady Shaylar knows where Lycan is?

*Ezekiel looks up and his face darkens*
Hell! what happened to you? *he looks across at Lady Shaylar then back at Cú studying the Orc blood. He blinks then jumps up*

Thanks mate. As to what happened, well I was involved in a little... scuffufle with a few... charming gents.

*sits down heavily*

Not a long visit however, I really need to find Lord Lycan.

I'm Ezekiel, please to meet you *he frowns* You need a healer first I think, I doubt Orc blood mixing with your own can be healthy. I'm an illusionist, so I cant help you medically- though I could perhaps attempt to weave the illusion you have no pain
*he holds out his hands uncertainly and they start to weave a pale blue glow* though I'm not that strong yet, so I have no idea how long it'd last. Lord Lycan? I know not of him beyond he is high caretaker

*Thurin absentmindedly taps out a dirge on the passage he was showing Ecg*

[Thurin] I've not seen Wolsey since I returned so I can't help.

*Thurin turns back to Shaylar*

[Thurin] I don't know the specifics, I just know witch magic is supposed to be different to wizard magic and he told me his mother was a witch, so maybe he needs to learn witch magic

*Ecg enters into the room, positive he has really screwed up big time on this one.*
"... Oh, Hi Lady Shaylar, Hi Lord Thurin, Hey Ezek..."
(Then to the other guy) : "Hi, um,-who are you?... (Boy, you look injured)."
*Holds a fireball in one hand and a miniature tornado in the other*
"Lady Shaylar, Lord Thurin look!" *passes the fireball and the miniature tornado around and they hold shape anyway.* The fireball is no longer so erratic and each bit of elemental magic just floats above the holder's hand instead of singing it. "Lady Shaylar, I got up really early this morning (is it?) and practiced until I could hold them in a controlled form much longer. Those books helped a lot." *holds up the chain grappler. "This is a family heirloom that my granddad made. He was a pretty skilled alchemist (on my father's side). Say, what does everyone look so horrified about? They don't have Oni here do they?..."

*walks in with the book tucked under his arm keeping an eye out for Lady Shaylar*

*Avatar walks into the library and checks out a couple of books. On his way out he nods in greeting to the assembled lords and lady before heading out to the courtyard to practice some more.*
