I see, well I'll keep that in mind, as I said I might end up lodging here. But for now I guess I should go to the guild; I migt as well see if what I do is classed as magic around here...
*puts the money for the beer on the table and leaves the tavern*

*The beer wench grabs the beer bottle walks back to the bar and beginns to clean the bottles...*

*the sink produces a great profusion of suds*

*Drops glasses and they break.*

*the tile on the floor, where the glasses fall, shatters. Underneath is a tin box*

[Beer Wench]Hmmm...what's this....


*REaches down and pulls up the tin box.*


*She puts it on the counter and tries to open it.*

*the lock is rusted shut, but as she holds the box, it begins to feel warm and emit a soft glow*

[Beer Wench] Ummm.....what is going on?


*She puts down the box and walks to the storage room. She returns carrying a broadsword. She puts the point between one of the seals and pushes with all her might.*

*the box opens and a magical lighted sphere emerges*

[Jin] Oh, Lady of the Ales, Mistress of the Liquers, for setting me free, I shall grant you one wish. This wish must only be made for good, or else ye shall join my in the tin box as my wife. Well, as wife number 4578, but who's counting?

*Polonous rides by on a horse, dismounts and enters the tavern*

Greeting, I'm looking for a...

...my, that's a mighty fine jin you've got there. Thinking of selling it?

*The beer wench pulls close the box and jin.*


[Beer Wench]He's mine... why do you want him?

*runs back in after talking with Timmy*

I own a shop that deals with rare and unusual (and sometimes plain ordinary) magical items, such as the one in your hands. As soon as you make however many wishes the jin allows, you will have no need for the box. Why not sell it to me for fifty pieces of gold?

[Beer Wench]Hmmm let me think about it. But I like the look of it, it's just so glowly.

Have you thought of what to wish for? You seem frazzled. Has something been causing you stress?

[Beer Wench]Me? m'lord? It's nothing...I just guess this war is starting to affect me...more soldiers are coming in here every night with there faces of no hope. I know hte magicians guild is trying very hard to keep their spirits up but it just looks like a hopeless battle.

* the door opens and in walkes Kandrill and massey finds a empty table and sits down massey lies down under the table, keeping an eye out for trouble, Kandrill spots a serving girl*

Ahh excuse me but could i see the menu?

* the girl smiles and says you have'nt been in here for a while i'll bring you a pint of mead and a pie, cus you look a bit thin *
