strange, very strange, I agree with Thurin, someone wanted all the high ranking Mage's out of the guild, but this is more than disgruntled slum dwellers, we need the identity of the rabble rouser, once he's exposed we can deal with the people's greivences

*Jumps down from the building and walks in cautiously, looking around*

Anything up there Shimada

*Polo opens the door to the supply closet*

I think I've found Mr. Greenwood.

*while untying Greenwood, who had been bound to a chair and gagged*

He came to my shop with an atache case of incident reports asking me to deliver them to the King, but there was noone at the Palace to receive me.

I found the atache in the snow outside.

Mr Greenwood, what happened

No there was nothing

[greenwood] I was working here when a man in a mask broke in and tied me up. This creature in the form of a man is not a man nor woman! It wears a mask because it's face is too horrible to be seen, and a cloak to hide it's wings, and-

*Greenwood is cut short by a large section of the dome falling on him*

*a flapping sound is heard*

*sighs, looks relieved.*
Very well, I should hang back with the healers.

*Sees what appears to be a gargoyle land on the roof. Climbs up an adjacent roof, but as soon as he makes it up, part of the CoC roof collapses. The gargolye flies away.*

*Fires a partial deathblast, which hits the thing in the wing and brings it crashing down in an alley. Runs to it. Sees it is wearing the same mask as the rebel leader, and in fact is the leader. Grabs it by the collar and holds it up, making sure not to look into its eyes.*

All right demon, now is the time to speak. what in the gods' names is going on here? Who are you?

*The gargoyle just smiles, and kicks Kazinishi in the groin. He quickly recovers, but the garg has gone. Kazinishi looks confused - he has the strangest feeling that, long ago, he knew it personally.*

*Runs outside and helps Kazinishi to his feet*

Some sort of gargoyle. They often disguise themselves quite effectively as humans. Sometimes they live as humans for years, at other times powerful necromancers ue their forms to return to lifeside for revenge, or to sort out unfinished business.

Does anyone know when the last time was the guild seriously ed off a gargoyle

I think we'd better return to the Guild Hall. Elwyn, come with me to the Dining Hall. Shaylar, why don't you and Kazi go to the High Council. , you go to the Healing Hall.

Yes, sir, as you cammanded. *lowers her head and took leave, dragging the arrows reluctantly*
