*arrives at the gate*

*enters the gates and nods in greeting at Elektra and continues on into the city*

*follows cu through the gates*

*Rides through the gates, dismounts and stuffs th reighns into the hands of a startled stable boy.*

I arrive and drop what I am carrying, and dash for my room.

*Alanna nods to the guard as she rides through the gates*

<< We'll assume Ezekiel and Alyssa have already passed through, since someone who left after them is looking for them in Ezekekiels room and otherwise continuity is thrown.... unless they took a long route...... but I'm too lazy to bother with that >>

*Alyssa steps out towards the Front Gate and stands staring into the distance*

[Alyssa] .... It can't be helped

*she holds out a hand and closes her eyes whispering something. The shadows in the forest along road up ahead and her black horse mysteriously appears from them and trots towards her. She smiles with amusement at something, then looks up at the horse*

[Alyssa] Well... shall we go back then?

Spies aylissa with her horse in the distance and starts to run*


AYLISSA!

<< sorry about this, but since I'm subscribed to both as and Science EXplained its a huge thing to get through the blog having been gone for even a few days- so I've been putting it off! >>

*Alyssa climbs onto her horse then looks back over her shoulder. She nudges the horse around to face him and stares at him hiding anything she might be feeling*

[Alyssa] Well? You have my attention now Calel

*frowns at her*

I....

*walks up to her and touches her leg, getting instanly hit with the full flow of her emotions, knocking him a little off balance*

*Her horse shies a little at his movements and she looks down at him calmly*

[Alyssa] I cannot stay here Calel, although I wish I could

[Alyssa] Will you wait for me- if I promise to return to you someday?

*letting go of her he looks down at his feet*

One day?


I have no choice but to wait

[Alyssa] I cannot tell you when- the future is uncertain for my kind. But I can tell you I will think of you, and watch you from afar. And if a time comes when you are in need, when you need help- even if it is from some tricksy dark elf like me *she smiles* I will come then. Family ties will not hold me from protecting you. But it is for your protection that I must leave for now, and I know you do understand that
*she reaches down to him and opens her hand revealing a small translucent blue stone carved into a strange shape* Its an elfen charm

*he looks up at her with emotion filled eyes, and carfully takes the charm, making a big show of inspecting it*


What does it do?

[Alyssa] It will glow softly like that for as long as I am well, to keep you from worrying for me. As well as that, it also has a small protection charm that will shield you from dark magic to some extent. Keep it with you, it may help you some day

*she nudges her horse which starts to turn back towards the gate*

*blinks slowly watching her leave*


Thankyou *his voice is full of emotion and doesn't sound like his own even to his own ears*

*she smiles back over her shoulder, then nudges her horse foward again which sets off at a strangely smooth pace taking Alyssa from the guild and out down the road into the distance*

*looks down again at the charm in his hand clasps it tightly then places it around his neck, making his way back to the guild*

*Ezekiel reaches the gate, then pauses thoughtfully. He puts his bag on the floor and stands back from it. His outline shimmers and suddenly he seems to vanish and a small brown dog is left standing in his place with his cloak draped over it. The dog shakes off the cloak and picks it up in its mouth placing it in the bag. It then backs up the back and trots off in the direction of the market in Imardin, seemingly not particularly interested in waiting too long for Calel to catch up*
