Sure. I hate the fact there has to be a film before people will read stuff and then have tghe nerve to say they did things better in the film or it was less confusing. Do you know why? Cause they edit it!!!

i read LOTR when i was 12! admitedly i got horribly confused but i read the damn thing!

i read the books when i was about that age (about 3 years ago)
i don't prefer the film to the books, i just think that it is easier to understand

I started readin LoTR when i was 14... OK so i was 18 by the time i finished, but that was cus i only managed to get a copy of return of the king wen i was 18

pf, I heard rumors that copies of "The Two Towers" were pulled from many bookshops for a few months after the September 11th attacks... Go figure...

thats almost as bad as during the gulf war the bbc banned the bangles song 'Walk like an Egyptian', because the gulf war was happening in the middle east
