definitly needed!
books are brilliant. film is great & cartoon was okish (i agree. openin = good. & i thought Galadriel was better in cartton version!)
my main gripe with the film was that i dint really like the elves much in it. esp. Lothlorien. i need 2 reread the book 2 find out when they get there, but im sure it was winter not spring so y were the leaves falling?
so. will shut up & leave this stuff 4 tolkien convos!

sort of. but only in ur mind as it were. u still have the days & months but it doesnt feel like a long time. like when ur on holiday & u cant keep track of the days.
