Without a doubt the best animation ever. Great jokes, fabbo plots. Far too good for kids.
And the 'Who? Ra?' sequence is more or less the funniest thing I have ever seen on TV.

Brill. David Jason must love working with Cosgrove Hall, he did the voice of Dangermouse as well. Just a note, Cosgrove Hall are still going, producing new Bill & Ben, Andy Pandy & Engie Benjy. These are the ones that I've spotted.
I have some of the Count Duckula on video. They must have a thing about birds. Nanny is a budgie (albeit a large one) & Igor is a eagle or vulture? Not sure which. Von Goosewing is of course a goose.
Phantom of the Opera is a good episode. Why has nanny got her arm in a sling .

preferred Dangermouse to Duckula. DM is the best kid's programe ever. i bought a DVD of it recently.

Nope, sorry. Dangermouse just didn't have the finesse of Duckula.

Nanny is a chicken. Final word. Duckula actually says so at one point.
And how can you prefer both? That's not preferring, that's just fence-sitting.

I like sitting on fences. You get a better view.
And Nanny is a big white chicken. I can see that clearly from the top of my fence.

Count Duckula was technically a Dangermouse spinoff, having appeared in a number of episodes as a guest villian.

Well I'm guessing it's got more credibility than Mandelson's.

Anybody's application for DG of the BEEB would be better than the slimeball Mandelson's.Duckula's nanny would do a better job than him.
