Greebo's Party #15... The Undiscovered Country
Sho - employed again! Posted Sep 25, 2000
Helloooooo!
I just saw this pile of doughnut crumbs and this brill sandcastle, with the door wide open...... so I guess Greebo is around?
*folds away the Swiss-Army-Umbrella*
Hi Bob, I like you as a wolf. Nice bushy tail, but aren't you a bit warm? Anyway, look what I brought you all from Austria...... snowballs with little Austrian hats on!! And for Greebo a Dampfnudel (which makes a change from doughnuts for you). And for Gwennie a set of minature cowbells (so you can put them on your cats so they can't chase birds - if you want)
Anyone had a good look around this castle yet? Are there any secret tunnels to anywhere??

Gwennie Posted Sep 25, 2000
Hi Sho! Welcome back! Did you have a nice time? We've not really got very far at the moment and all seem to be milling around inside Greebo's sand castle. Menza seems to have his nose stuck to the wall whilst Bob has wiped his cold wet nose on the back of my legs and Volrath has lit the place up a bit. And Greebo is eating your Dampfnudel. So everything is quite normal really.
Thanks for the miniature cowbells! But don't mention about tying them around cats' necks in front of Greebo...
*Turns to Greebo*
Did you put in any secret doors or tunnels when you made this castle, Greebo?

we had a great time in the snow. Greebo and Bob probably would have liked it (especially since Bob's a wolf right now, loads of great places to go where no human foot can tread).
Anyway, I brought the 2 Bobs Austrian hats, but seeing as there is now only one of him, does anyone want one??
*reaches into Tardis-like rucksack and gets out "tasteful" Austrian hats*
{and before anyone shows my age - and Gwennie's - look up Dr Who to find out what a Tardis is}
Anyone for digging a tunnel?

Me is sure there is a secret passage around here somewhere... it's disguised as a wall of sand...
~Greebo taps the wall beside her...~
Can anyone find something that sounds hollow when tapped...
~Greebo looks at Gwennie~
And before you mention Menza's head... NO!!!

Greebo, if you want something hollow to tap on....try the output of the new Department for Sitting on our Backsides and Doing Sod-All! I'm the representative minister in Peregrin's cabinet. I sit around at cabinet meetings and do sod-all. I then go back to my department's section of Alabaster Towers and do sod-all, along with the rest of my department. Sound like fun?

But with this I can make speeches like this:
"Last week we achieved most of our targets, but a few rebels insisted on making cups of tea, and most of the department insisted on going to the toilet on a regular basis. Naturally, we are working to stamp out this insubordination, and should be 100% non-productive by the end of the year"
and so make many people laugh. I mean, it's not as if you have to do much once you get there is it?
That's why I thought of you and Big Evil Dan first!!!!!!!

*Pours a bucket of cold sea water over Bob, winks at Sho and says*
My mind is the opposite of a TARDIS; the inside is considerably smaller than the outside!
Baldrick, have you ever sat and watched "Yes Minister" and "Yes Prime Minister" on television? If not, you should as it would give you some excellent ideas as for running your department.
*Taps her handy tuning fork on Menza's head and listens to the resounding note*
D flat I think, Greebs!
So, is this where we start to dig or is that thin looking wall over there the best bet?
*Wanders over to the wall, hits it with her tuning fork and the whole wall trembles and falls in a tidy pile of sand on the floor*
Shall we go peeps? *Steps over the pile of sand*

*Pulls Baldrick out of the hole and brushes him down once again*
The hole must be one of Greebo's emergency doughnut stashes! Peers into the hole to find it empty apart from a few sugary crumbs. See?

Don't worry Greebo, I'm sure you have another stash somewhere.
Do we have to go boldly, can't we creep along timidly? OOhhhhhhhh. Look over here! A trail of crumbs and...... footprints.... but...
*bends down to look at footprints in an expert tracking way*
Looks like who/what-ever went down here has three legs and a long swishy tail........ who's coming to look?
