I've started with the food in another conversation
but we really need to put those decorations up that are in that box you have
I understand that you will be wary of heights for a bit, and I am only 5 foot tall. But if you get to blowing up the balloons (sheath the claws - I don't like bangs and you don't really wnat to be startled up to the ceiling again, with no-one good at catching around) I think there is balloon pump somewhere at the bottom of the box. I'll get to putting up the decorations. Hmm, I think I will need a step ladder.
*Wanders to caretaker's cupboard previously unnoticed in the corridor and after much clanking of buckets, comes back with a small step ladder and sets it up in one corner*
right, shall we start with the chains?
*begins putting up decorations*
hopefully some big strong person will come in with a christmas tree soonish, then we can put it over in the corner and you can get on with decorating that.

hmm, decorating always goes better with some song, now what would be appropriate?

*struggles in, weighed down by an enormous Christmas tree*
Where... *pant*... do you want... *gasp* ...the tree? *collapses*

hmm, perhaps over there...
*points to the corner near the wall in which a wonderful fireplace with a burning fire has sprung up*
just far enough away from the fire for it to be safe, but it will look wonderful in the flickering light from the flames

*struggles to his feet and manoeuvres the tree into the corner* How's that?

Hmmm, what can we do to cheer up Mr Bear? Don't want to antagonise him by forcing him to wear a party hat against his will... although it would look rather fetching...
By the way, I've asked the other ACEs to help out, so hopefully some of them will be along soon...

Ohhh... look at the tree... would look great with some decorations... especially near that wonderfully roaring fireplace... and just look at all those decorations on the ceiling... ohhhhhh... me is sooooo happy... ~grin~

we left the tree for you and whoever brought fairy lights, as in my house the decorating of the tree is a special occurrence

pity i won't get to see it done, or see the party in full swing
i'm off home today, with no pc or modem to get online (am on uni ethernet here)
but I did manage to a get a (free) sparc 1+ to play with over the hols!
