Lemon Blossom:
Agnostic Deist with some Buddhist ideas.
I decided to stay a virgin forever because I personally find the sex act disgusting and because I think that physical pleasure is bad for the mind.

Debatable
I think sex is icky and gross. Why should I have it?

Well, first, don't sign me up as I'm all for engaging in the act, personally. I just noticed the lack of people flocking to your group here, and I wonder if it might not be a good idea to form it around the debate of the value (or lack thereof) of sex rather than the outright refusal to engage in it. People might be less nervous to show up and chat. Of course, maybe your original idea is exactly what you want, in which case . I do appreciate your observation that christians have sort of commandeered the abstinence thing ('true love waits' is big in the states), and that reasons to refuse sexual activity can and do stem from all sorts of ideologies.

It's not really to be expected. People who don't want to have sex are pretty rare.

Sign me up as well. I won't go into my reasons since I've already tried to explain them on the thread that you made on my user page. However, I personally don't find the sex act disgusting, which makes it harder to avoid.

Hmm. It's nice to know there's more than just me. Thanks, Lemon Blossom.
RDO, what is the Conspiracy?
I'm not on much either as I have more assignments than I can reasonably avoid thinking about.

"RDO, what is the Conspiracy?"
The Conspiracy is the universe. It is everything that interferes with free will--physical laws, biology, social constructs, and psychological/emotional conditions.
Just about everything is part of the Conspiracy. You'll find some more information about it on U237011's page.

Interesting, Daneel. I never knew you had multiple personalities - or, at least, that you consider your multiple personalities as separate personas. I presume you have met Lucinda (et al)?

I've never met Lucinda.
I consider my various h2g2 users to be seperate personalities, sort of, but I don't think I really have a psychological condition of the sort implied by multiple personalities.
They do disagree with each other a bit, though.

Lucinda et al - U129960
He pops on every now and then, though he no longer writes articles for the guide. He sounds quite similar in that he has different h2g2 personalities, except that he considers them genuinely separate individuals, so far as I can see.
Your Primist beliefs are very... interesting. They strike a nice chord with my own system of free-will ethics, at least...

The closet I come to a religion would be Bokonism(if that doesn't make sense read Cat's Cradle by Vonnegut).
My reason is mainly a protest against other people and not aganist the act itself.(I don't want to, but I don't think it's wrong or bad if other people do...)

Very well, I'll remove you. I'm sorry or congradulations, whichever is appropriate.
If wrong we did to call them,
By honour bound they came;
Let not Thy Wrath befall them,
But deal to us the blame.
