Sorry if I'm butting in but I think the release date for the fouth Harry potter book is 8th July.
Has anybody read Northern Lights by Philp Pullman it is a bit complicated at times but its a good read.

Actually, Phillip Pullman is one of the authors on my "must read" list. Is he good?

I don't know yet but he's on my list as soon as I've read the other 15 books sitting on my bedside table.
A good friend of mine recommends "Northern Lights" very highly though. He thinks they're better than Harry Potter (and he really liked HP too).

If it's mad then you're certainly not the only one. The not yet published, still unnamed 4th Harry Potter is apparently already the best seller at Amazon.co.uk !!
