It's not available because I haven't fully finished it.

There are links to be inserted, the spelling needs checking, all that sort of stuff before it's opened for business.

The in-running result is that you're in second place, one point behind sprout smiley - bigeyes

However the two of you have the same H/T result and the same scorer for the Huddersfield v Mansfield game. Therefore you really *are* hanging on the final result if you're going to win this thing.

Well two ex-Premiership teams are now well and truly in the mire. I forsee another fire-sale coming up at West Ham and Sunderland.

Despite their earlier protestations that they were cutting their cloth to fit their new circumstances, both clubs would have been planning on an automatic return to the big league. Well chaps, it ain't happened smiley - devilsmiley - evilgrin

Selhurst Park - now there's a funny state of affairs. Not so long ago it was my most visited away ground with two matches per season. And now I find that both clubs have disappeared out of opposite ends of the Division 1 (OK one with the added assistance of the M1, but the point remains the same.) In its place I find an away game that is within walking distance, assuming that I can get a ticket!

Anyway, enough of my ramblings.

In this short competition the performance of two players stands out. McKay and sprout have stormed up the table in the last couple of rounds to take the top two places. Sprout has come in with some very solid match predictions, and McKay seems to be the expert around here on scorers with a frankly amazing seven points.

But, as always, there can be only one winner. And this time it goes to sprout with a magnificent total of 34 points. Well done Sir smiley - applausesmiley - bubblysmiley - biggrin

That is correct. I didn't accept your late entry, because I see punctuality as good training for the Euro 2004 competition where the timings mean that threads will open and close within a just a few days.

Which, incidentally brings us to the subject of the Euro 2004 page, which folk can now visit at the link provided early in this thread smiley - smiley

Wa-hey!

I'm completely made up. A very pleasant surprise, as I had no access to the details over the weekend, other than my Dad phoning me to celebrate Town coming back up.

Many thanks as always to Greydesk for running the game - smiley - ta

Well 'walking distance' might be taking a bit of artistic licence with it. The stadium (or as my one of my bosses used to describe it, "My old school's playing field.") is about 3 miles away.

But hey, I'm sure you'll let me off when you remember that a 'home' game for me won't give me much change out of 500 miles there and back smiley - online2long
