FOOTBALL LEAGUE - 1st Leg

Crystal Palace v Sunderland (1-1) Johnson
Ipswich v West Ham (1-1) Bent
Hartlepool v Bristol City (1-2) Roberts
Swindon v Brighton & Hove Albion (2-1) Parkin
Lincoln City v Huddersfield (0-1) Booth
Northampton v Mansfield (1-1) Lawrence
Hopefully Huddersfield will get through. Genetically I am a Huddersfield supporter (My Dad's team, his Dad's team etc) I find it difficult to muster much enthusiasm when I never get to see them play though.

I feel bound to say not all Huddersfield supporters are like that. But having not been to see a game with them in for about three years, what with not living in the UK anymore, I suppose they all could be, for all I know.

Well, I missed the first leg of the conference playoffs - maybe everyone should 'sit out' one of the events to make it fair!
