Well, I suppose it's only fair. I got a lot of points at the start by waffling, now I lose them all again by waffling. Not sure what the religious motivation for having your heart shuflled about would be, though a lot of people did it. During some English war or other, Prince Rupert was constantly having body parts transferred here and there, mostly in Worcestershire.

Just working out the scores now - yours is going to be the most complicated I can tell you that for free!

By religious motivation I mean the place where it was buried is somewhere steeped in religion. Still two klaxons for someone to claim, so - he he - choose wisely. smiley - winkeye

Now then - don't want points for this - but when I deliberately didn't mention Beaver fur (thanks Taff) I was aware of a very interesting fact. At the height of the fur trade in what is now Canada, some coins were minted by whoever was in charge at the time. The coins had a very specific value of "One Beaver Pelt".

Congratulations. Your score is still positive. Just. smiley - winkeye

1 point behind Taff, our current leader but another klaxon for either of you would change all that.

So when I say "carefully" I mean CAREFULLY. smiley - winkeye

Shame you don't want the points for it, cos I think that's quiet interesting but fair enough...

It's late I'm going to bed. A small amount of mileage left in this one.

Got a few other quirky ideas on the burner that I don't have questions sorted for them yet.

That I did know. Sheep, was a new one but when they can make cheese from chihuahuas I suppose anything is possible.

An extra anecdote came to light last night as I was putting the finishing touches to "Blackbeard's Bounty"

Turns our the unusual appetite of the Buckland clan ran in the family

Buckland father, William (1784 - 1856), Geologist and Dean of Westminster is said to have eaten the embalmed heart of Louis XIV. He died shortly thereafter. smiley - skull

On the that news, roasted giraffe and panther fillets seems far more reasonable.
