Ah - had to check - because it wasn't about runways.
but I'll give you a DGI +1 out of sympathy, I mean you're currently running at -35, so it's hardly breaking the bank.

nitro glycerine is an unstable explosive liquid
alfred nobel discovered that when you mix 'nitro' with clay you get a more stable solid form called dynamite
it is from this patent that nobel set up the funding for his prizes, the main one being the peace prize, out of so much destruction should come peace
TNT
stands for Tri Nitro Toluene which is stable with out the mixing with clay

Yes I acknowledge that now.
The difference is in my view you were saying runways being located on migration routes, it's not runways that's important; what Mal got *more* correct was it was data on the migration patterns themselves...

Tzjin already got the agency - The N.T.S.B - the task is now to work out why they call at the Natural History Museum in Washington to help with their investigations.

is there any colour(color for the yanks) that aircraft can be painted to drive away birds and prevent further air stikes

when i was down the Falklands
(1986 G)
the optimum colour for camouflage on the Phantom aircraft that the RAF would accept was a light duck egg blue
the optimum colour was a light light pink, but NO ONE wants to fly a pink aircraft

Okay now I'm off to bed - to be resumed in the morning.
What lies behind the doors of the NHM that the NTSB finds incredibly useful....

One other thing the NHM has that is sometime necessary....

Is it anything to do with how ducks land on water? The museum would presumably have duck skeletons or stuffed-ducks so maybe they want to look at them to work out the best shape for waterplane feet or bellies or something?

Nope.

Yes!!
The NHM maintains a bird (not just duck) DNA database, that the NTSB uses in incidents involving aircraft colliding with birds. Migration patterns are altering with changes in Earth climate and this brings new species into flight paths previously avoided, so the data collected is scientifically useful but also crucial to the NTSB solving cases.
Finally for points: Any guesses now on how this collaboration was able to solve the case of the flying deer ?
